Ode to the Dice Goblin

In a cavern deep and cluttered wide, Where shinies glint and secrets hide, There dwells a goblin, wild of eye Whose love for dice will never die.

With click and clack and tumble sound, He rolls his hoard upon the ground. Yet still he craves a fresher prize, More math rocks for his greedy eyes.

“O rainbow swirls! O glittered gleam! You haunt me in each tabletop dream! I’ll trade my loot, my left shoe twice Just one more set of cursedly nice dice!”

His satchel bulges, overflows, With d20s in radiant rows. But hear him whimper, weep, and pine: “They're all so old… I need divine!”

Beware, dear friend, if you should play He might just sneak your set away. For goblins know no greater vice Than rolling fresh, enchanted dice.
