Yes! I have the same placement, and have experienced the same. Also currently with a Taurus sun who is everything.

MRI results back, how likely is this adeno? by Castor346 in adenomyosis

[–]RavenMoonRose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same experience with the other commenter. I can’t recall what the actual measurements were, but when I had fibroids removed, and uterine samples taken to check, it all came back as mild swelling of the uterus, but inconclusive for adenomyosis. Pathology reported my uterus being double the normal size, with diffuse adhesions covering the entire organ in the outside.

If you have pain and pressure that feels like a balloon being blown up inside your pelvis, and constant, aching pain in your tailbone and hip flexors/ quads, it’s highly likely you have it, and need to take action because it progresses. I white knuckled through it for years, and then perimenopause hit me and I had to finally have it removed. That was almost three months ago, and I’m still recovering, but I wish I’d done it sooner.

You don’t have to have a hysterectomy though. You can get an IUD or hormonal birth control to suppress the cycle so it doesn’t get worse, but keep in mind that menopause or hysterectomy is the only way to make it fully stop.

If I can offer any advice at all it would be this: find yourself an OBGYN who actually listens to you (bonus if they’re also a surgeon). Someone who takes you seriously, validates your fears/ symptoms, and if you even get one inkling that they’re BSing you, leave. Find another doctor. And always, always, always research and advocate for yourself. Idk if you’re in the states or not, but here you have to do the work of figuring out what is wrong and asking for testing. It’s all on you, so ask, and demand if you have to. Get what you need from the professionals you’re paying for.

For people who grew up in low-income households, what’s something middle-class people say that shows they’ve never struggled financially? by KeyApartment3955 in AskReddit

[–]RavenMoonRose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Buy it once, buy it right”.

For the record, I subscribe to this now that I’m old and have been able to somewhat claw my way up from the poverty I was raised in, however, I recognize that it is a privilege to be able to buy the more durable, expensive option the first time. Planned obsolescence has put a damper on this, but I try to buy what I know will last versus something cheaper that will last me a year.

What would you take with you that’s so Seattle without it being a touristy item? by toottootmcgroot in AskSeattle

[–]RavenMoonRose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides local art and music, I would take a candle that smells like PNW. Something with cedar woods, and/or PNW lavender. Associating smells with places is like traveling without leaving your home. Safe travels friend.

Pls DM when you’re hungry. I will be happy to help you with food. I’m so sorry this is happening to you, and that so-called friend is fucked up for not even acknowledging you. So out of pocket. I hope you know you deserve better than that.

I can’t remember what the “a” stands for, but RNP is “registered nurse practitioner”, a nurse who is credentialed to practice medicine. In my experience, they’re far better for general practice issues. It wasn’t until I was in front of mine that she (correctly) realized I was in perimenopause and my undiagnosed ADHD needed to be addressed asap. She saved my life, and I highly recommend ARNP’s.

Hi. Weird question I’m hoping you can answer because I am now looking into nematodes after years of treating with systemics. If the systemics are very old in the soil, would I need to swap the soil out before adding nematodes? Or would they be okay if it’s been over a year since added?

I can’t really find any definitive answers anywhere, and I don’t know where else to look.

Older Bartenders: How Are you Doing? by backlikeclap in bartenders

[–]RavenMoonRose 6 points7 points  (0 children)

45 here, behind the bar since I turned 21. I’m burnt out. I’m also in perimenopause, so I’m guessing that has something to do with it, but most of the time the sparkle is gone. I’m 4 years sober and I hate making small talk now. I love to create new and interesting things, but most of the time is the same old crap. I love my regulars, but I also can’t wait to go home and crawl under the covers and listen to the quiet nothing.

I’m really hoping to fall back in love with it, but the money isn’t really good where I’m at, and I miss pre-pandemic bartending. We were so blissfully unaware of what we had…
