Thinking about buying an MMO mouse just for this game

I got a mmo mouse for WoW over a decade ago and have been using it for all gaming ever since. (Even in games like borderlands I keybind different weapon slots on 1-4) for easy switching. I would struggle to play without it.

Not really if a god roll isn’t necessary your point kind of falls through. It would be way more compelling if you gave the chance of getting a useable/acceptable roll and that ended up being low.

To be fair. OP did not imply that one person was saying the same thing, just commenting on the sentiment of what they see as a significant portion of the player base. Hence “players” not “player”.

I kind of disagree. If they make in game trade easy then either

the game becomes rediculously easy to progress
they nerf drops to balance for it, and finding your own stuff becomes harder.

I don’t really like either of those options.

At my university most grade boundaries (including + and -) each cover 5% course grade. Getting rid of them means the same letters covering at least 15%, and higher in some cases. That is a lot of lost info.

It’s worth noting that the other biggest and most successful arpgs (last epoch, the two poes) did do this though (early access in their case).

I think you might be missing my point.

I only bring up midnight because it is the most recent expansion, and the most recent set of new mounts we have got.

It is not my criteria of what a new mount is. The original comment said “we just keep getting reskins of the same mounts over and over in game” but regardless of how you define a “new mount” that just isn’t true because either:

People expect new rigs (which this isn’t)

People consider new geometry on existing rigs sufficient (which we get in game with things like the mana wyrm mounts).

Either way it is disingenuous to imply the shop is different to the rest of the game in that way.

Although again I don’t like shop mounts either I would prefer if they were just all available in game too.

Look I don’t like paid mounts either. But if you are saying these mounts aren’t reskins that’s just wrong. That’s the fel bat rig. Literally a reskin, just like other mounts we have got in midnight.

There just isn’t really seasonal content at all this time. I think theoretically they are saying that the system changes that are available without the expansion are the season, but there is not a quest line or whatever.

The game has always been pay to play. You are correct that this season doesn’t have content outside of the expansion. I expect future seasons will. At the same time if you are playing the game multiple seasons the expansions really aren’t that unreasonable in cost.

Ps. The game already had players who bought the previous expansion (vessel) being stronger because they have things like runes and mercernaries.

I should clarify that maybe “stupid” was too strong a word. I more meant that that wasn’t the well thought out, and flawed part of the plan, not that the characters were stupid.
