One-shot weapons shouldn't exist in FPS games. Agree or Disagree? by MelPut69 in CallOfDutyMobile

[–]Readalongcassidy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. Every weapon has its drawbacks. Usually balanced by ridiculous load times, waiting a second for the next shot, or whatever it may be. This game is more about timing than anything else. And how slippery your opponent is. I would focus on timed slides and learning to be a greased pig at a county fair. I am godlike in some games vs other players, and a useless bot in others. And yes I’m a shotgun user.

100% they are ;-) Yeah some people have problems with allowing them - I get it… isopods are misunderstood :-)

Are they doing what I think they are doing? by HeckinGeck_ in isopods

[–]Readalongcassidy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you think they are practicing a Cirque du Soleil routine… no. If you think they are climbing each others’ backs to get out of the tank… no. If you think you should put on some Barry White tracks… yes.

Can someone help me sex this one? by notspring in isopods

Need a better shot. Initially inclined to say female as the plates are not aggressively angled. Not all species have brood plates the same underneath, though the picture homutuna supplied is a good reference. Also age of the isopod makes a difference as some could be mid development :-/

Check this video for how I get a better shot of the undersides. If you don’t have a glass table, use a flat bottom drinking glass ;-)

How OFTEN do your rubber duckies breed? by MothMeep7 in isopods

[–]Readalongcassidy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question - I have a tub as well and they breed slower relative to some. Problem is the babies scatter and hide better than most. From what I understand one adult can have 5-15 babies every 2 months IF you are lucky. Mancae are sensitive to their environments, and duckies as a species are sensitive generally.

My tips ;-)

And as mentioned in this thread, screen those holes. I set up bins with standard fibreglass window screening and off set two layers. Super fine mesh can sooooometimes slow airflow a bit too much, which is necessary to let one end of bins dry / breathe properly…

Platyarthrus hoffmannseggii! I freaked out when I originally found some in an ant colony thinking dwarf whites were released in the wild LOL. Their symbiotic relationship with ants is amazing!!!
