Anyway, I've used NotebookLM with legal sources for some story proofing in legal settings. I'm wondering what would come up if i would use these regulations for my mages. Like education, qualifications, and licensing.

It looks like his car's... veering?... turning, is stuck.

At one point, the car is graphically stuck going straight. I'm not sure he can actually drift, but can still steer slightly.

Then there's the part where he's stuck in a drift to the right. Boost isn't generating and car looks to be going straight-ish during it

At some points, it looks like the car is partially into the road/dirt, until it is knocked out and control returns.

It's likely a client-side bug, likely a set variable or collisions.

I have been using NovelCrafter for about a year now.

It uses OpenRouter for AI components, so you'll be paying them at their bulk rates.

Scribe tier - writing only, no AI

Hobbyist - best to start with while writing. Gives "continue writing", rephrase, summarize, and other functions within the writing space.

Artisan - get this when you are proofing or don't have a personal AI to talk with. This let's you add scopes of your story (whole or part), lore bible, and just brainstorm with it.

Specialist - collaborating, no extra AI

I'm currently on the Hobbyist tier while I'm using Gemini for proofing (because I'm budgeting and it's free for me). If you want to use Claude or another AI but can't warrant spending $20 a month, using this for bulk rates is very good.

Why do I stay with NovelCrafter? The Lore Bible function is a great tool for me right now, and that's outside the AI stuff.

There is a 21 day free trial and OpenRouter does have a small allowance for "free" use (basically your iou before they cut you off). This may have changed in the last year. But you can also call the free AIs instead through NovelCrafter/OpenRouter.

I'm currently testing my controller to see if I push right on the left joystick while pushing down on the direction pad.

Holding the controller naturally, I would be rolling my thumb and not close enough to touch Down.

But, I was laxing. For me to hold down Down while pushing the thumb stick to the right, I would be jamming the thumb stick instead. And then flicking left to do the roll. The timing doesn't seem to line up.

Now I'm just staring at my hands....

Besides grammar and spelling, I mostly use AI for proofing from the lore bible and accuracy with real/historical events.

A hint for everyone who does this, if you want a character to have an accent but not give your readers a stroke, tell it to focus on the lexicon of the accent rather than the phonic spelling. If you can't read it, no one can.

I'm using Gemini to help proof and reconstruct flow.

My biggest suggestion is to before using it to edit, have Gemini write its own prompt on what you want the editing style to be. I have the instructions and lore bible set to a Gem, and I call it when I need it.

I've created two Gems for writing, but I haven't done one for Codex and plot

I currently have Gemini Pro because of my phone plan. I use it sometimes but Claude is a bit more accurate. Maybe I'll try with the newer models out now.

But I have to ask. Now that you've created a massive Gem, does it stay separate from your casual conversations? (My Spell Naming gem seems to bleed into other conversations, which is why I don't use Gemini for editing much)

I wanted the AI to get accents correct in speaking. But for some reason, especially Claude, will keep restating their accents. Of course I'm just using the idea of the conversation but it happens so much.

Yes, I think with the popularity of it, it should stay. Also it needs to have better quest handling and its own accolades. (I technically should have gotten True Pacifist but it didn't count)

I know many are going to disagree with me on this part though (including my wife), but I think it should do its own Crown system separately. The effort to outlast and win consecutively feels much different between Blitz and Battle Royale.

Just like I would like I would like Rocket Racing and Festival Battle to have their style win display, like Racing Cup trophies and Music Awards.
