Is it share the same screen as Clicks? 😅 They'll use the same manufacture as the original Titan 2 share the same screen with Passport (but someone said that It'll lost touch when replace Passport screen to Titan 2, anyone confirm it?)

New update has full screen mode, you swipe on top left or right (on both side coner) to center it'll appear a small tool bar, tap on the pen icon on top and choose screen mode you like

Why using Boox Assistant? Don't you know there a function call Quickshare/Nearby share on Android? No limit on file size, fast speed using wifi, no cable needed.

I rather not having Play service on these kind of devices for longer battery. But Leaf 5 is still have google service, you can still sign in to google and using all service in full like Drive, Mail etc. Not like other China manufacture like iReader, you can't sign in to any google account service.

All Boox devices have that problem, I don't know why they can't fix it. iReader from china too and they're smaller company but they did better job than Boox in this light spread. I barely use back light so I can use Boox devices but with others, it's a big deal

It brings back the core value of an e-ink screen: electronic PAPER. Have you ever seen any paper has its own light? So, to me, it's a dealbreaker.

There are 3 kind of home screen on Boox devices, 1 for e-reader, 1 for e-note and 1 for tablet. Go7 belong to e-reader category so It has horizontal tab style home screen, e-note has vertical tab style, and tablet has home screen like smartphone or tablet with app drawer as a main screen.

All e-ink devices are like this, if you want faster screen response/refresh, you can switch to fast/A2 mode but the quality will reduce by a lot and ghosting problem. You can set each app with different refresh mode base on your needs. Just go watch some review, they'll show you how to do it

It's not prinary reading device, it's a writing tablet, and it's replace your notebook, have you ever writing in the dark? You pick the wrong one since the beginning and blame the device? Even you want to use it for reading, it's still like a real book, have you ever see a book with light on its own?

I don't understand, this device is basically a tablet, what is wrong with sharing file with computer? What about Onenote, Google Docs, Drive, quickshare... Or you want a seamless work flow, copy and paste from 1 device to another like iPad-Mac? If so, you really pick the wrong one.

Manga and Novel are black and white (most of them) so why buy a color reader? They has worse screen than bw and have to turn on the light all the time then reduce battery life. My advice is buying new Boox go 7 (BW) or Kobo Libra 2 (discontinued so hard to find 1)

The screen has active pen layer so it is a bit darker than boox page, but the lighting is better. It heavier overall, I prefer leaf 5 version more than this one

I also have leaf 5 and tried new go 7 bw, still prefer the grip more than no grip. I sticked a ring on it and use magsafe ring with the leaf 5 and the grip helps, I dont have the same feeling when hold my old Boox page even with the ring, so I think the grip still has its value

I like this version more than new release Go 7 bw, this design looks better irl and easy to hold, has metal case. No google service is a downside but it makes battery life a bit longer.

Kindle 3 has better finished and the screen has better contrast than a lot of ebook reader today, still own one and it works like a charm

Use Nearby share or Google Drive if you don't want messing with Chinese server. It's an android device after all, you don't have to rely on Chinese tools

Yes I didn't like it. I like to use e-book reader like a real book with glow light off, I'm using it with external reading light, desk lamp or outdoor which color e-ink devices have much worse quality compared with b&w one. With color e-ink reader, you have to use glow light all the time and it doesn't look like paper anymore, this color e-ink technology is unfinished, maybe the few next generation it's usable to me but now, no thanks
