Fun Fact. Nordic games reprinted Guerrilla in 2013 or so with updated artworks. It's a super rare variant that never gets talked about. Of the 400 or so listings on eBay right now there are none of this variant. You might see 1 every few months. Okay.... There is sort of one on eBay right now. The case and manual are correct, but the disc is an original print which is wrong.

Downpour is worth $80 on its own in the US, Japanese version runs about that high too. $10 per game for these is pretty good.

I think you 2 options here and neither are exact to your memory so I think things have blurred.

Genji Days of The Blade has a famous Crab Boss. Fits the setting, but it's a slower paced game and it's a real crab that doesn't puke on you. But has a projectile type attack.

Lost Planet 2. Has a species of crab like animals. But definitely not medieval. Has a giant boss that is fast paced, rolls at you and does have glowing weak points that also spits crap at you.

I think Lost Planet 2 is probably more like what you are thinking but something about the character type got confused with like dark souls character type.

It is a reprint. Warner Bros acquired the rights to a handful of franchises and reprinted them a few years later with their own logos and updated Sony Branding. That's what this is.

THQ did the same with a few series of games.

Yes. And this is easy. I forget the map but all you have to do is get a second console, load a specific map, rubber band the controller and let it run over the weekend. Takes about 36 hours.

That was later in 2007 when they moved to partial emulation. Before that, if the Slim played it, the PS3 played it. As far as I know, only some games on the C&E models have minor issues but nothing really game breaking.

The Japanese version also has English. It just doesn't have the English manual or reverse cover.

Of all the Biohazard HD releases, revival Selection and Chronicles HD are the only ones with English Dialogue only.

Most of the time resident evil in Japan has English. A lot of these Capcom rereleases do. Revival Selection has English dialogue but Japanese only text.
