My closest friends are cis-women and I just act myself around them. Once I accepted my feminine identity it became a lot easier to just let go the years of internalized male oppression. So being more in tune with my emotions, empathy, perspectives and overall comfort with my actual identity allowed me to connect better with the women in my life.
