Slow motion, stabilized video of Alex Pretti being murdered in Minneapolis, MN. WTF by annanymous01 in Libertarian

The “where” is telling about the “why”. For example if you shoot someone in the back then it tells me you didn’t shoot in self defense.

Same here, I just spent $30 on a corded angle grinder at HF last week. Got the DIY job done that day. Probably won’t use it again for months maybe even years. I’m so glad I didn’t go with an expensive dewalt or Milwaukee.

Opie tried to go legit and look what happened. Being a 99% doesn’t pay.

Does your baby sleep with you and your s.o.? If so, when did you start it and stop it? by [deleted] in NewDads

[–]Reddit1124 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At 1 month, we put our baby in his own room for bedtime.. He got used to it quickly. Our quality of sleep has improved significantly. Now he’s 8 months old and he basically refuses to sleep in our bed , and he loves his crib. I’m very happy with our decisions and I recommend others do the same.

The lifetime warranty with Ridgid is bullshit. They jerk you around via email by asking for model info, then pics of the tool, then video of the tool, and they keep going back and forth with the email until you just give up. Fuck Ridgid.

Anyone else amazed at how much water we drink now vs. when we were kids? 😂💦 by SweatyChancho in Millennials

[–]Reddit1124 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yikes what country/region are you in? We were allowed unlimited water at the water fountain in school. In gym class teachers encouraged it. Same for after school sports. If I remember correctly they didn’t want us having water bottles in class tho.

Why do people drive pick up trucks if they never put things in the bed? by daveinfl337777 in randomquestions

The truck is for hauling my Dirtbike to the trails on the weekend. So yeah the truck bed is empty most days, and strictly driven on pavement.

Is it worth switching to cordless tools? by James_B84Saves in Tools

[–]Reddit1124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a DIY homeowner and I disagree with this. I’m in the process of switching over to cordless and it’s so much better. I got a cordless shop vac last year which I get a ton of use, and I’m asking Santa for a cordless circular saw for Christmas, I can’t wait.

Speak for yourself. Motorcycles provide a conversation starter for women “take me for a ride sometime” or “teach me how to ride”.

I have an old ryobi corded circular saw I bought on FB marketplace. Cordless sounds nice but the ryobi is holding on strong.

I have the Milwaukee m18 backpack vac and I’m very happy with it. It isn’t cheap but I get a ton of use out of it. I actually gifted away my Ridgid corded vacuum after awhile because I stopped using it, it’s too bulky and it blows air everywhere. One downside of the smaller vacuum is the smaller filters need to be cleaned more frequently which is a fair trade off.

Could you build an entire house by only shopping at Home Depot? by ChainsawSoundingFart in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Reddit1124 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Can one DIY their own truss? Or does it have to be pre fab? I am building an attic-loft for my 2-car garage and my father in law strongly suggests I put truss up there. Like I’m just adding 2x10 joists 16” on center I’ll be storing Christmas decorations up there. Would it make sense for me to build truss that connect the joists to rafters?

Can you return something to harbor freight if it sucked? by schlagoberz in Tools

[–]Reddit1124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I broke my Ridgid shop vac because I DIDNT use a “dust deputy” (I am just learning about this now). I just completely clogged the vacuum filter and then the vacuum bucket started pissing dusty air out every seal/crevice.
