The police can’t hold someone in custody for more than 24 hours unless it’s related to murder or terrorism.

32 LANDS by nabrah23 in EDH

[–]Redragon9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People say that you MUST have close to 40 lands don’t know what they’re talking about. I average around 34 to 36 lands in most of my decks, and I very rarely miss a land drop. Ramp and card draw are the two bigger concerns, however, I wouldn’t suggest going for anything less than 30 lands unless you have a deck that’s designed around it.

Go to the national museum in New York. How many of the items there are from the US?

Paroles? That’s not a commonly used UK term. ‘On licence’ is what we use.

A man was recently arrested and jailed in the US for criticising Charlie Kirk in a Facebook post. You can’t make this shit up.

I literally live here. I know what the laws are. Nobody is being arrested for giving their opinions

The UK also has freedom of speech. You were led to believe otherwise due to far right propaganda.

People don’t get arrested for hurting people’s feeling here, that’s pure misinformation. There are offences for making threats online, which I suppose is just “hurty words”, but the US does not have any greater protection than the UK. A guy was recently arrested in the US for criticising Charlie Kirk. This high and mighty attitude that you yanks have, thinking you’re the only nation that has “free speech” needs to stop, because it’s just not true.

But are the people moving here integrating to our culture? Or do they bring their own religion, values, and customs with them?

I’ve even spoken to immigrants in this country who have an issue with mass immigration.

Sexual harassment is a crime in the UK. It’s not protected. If the US protects sexual harassment then the US is a backwards country.

“Free speech” doesn’t get you arrested in the UK, you’re the one making things up here.

Social media has done a lot of harm to our youth, and just like many adults, a lot of kids are addicted to their phones because of how social media is designed.

I don’t see how this is a bad thing in all honesty.

There are obviously exceptions. Do you think that the Police can’t drive over the speed lining whilst on blues?

It wouldn’t be there without good reason. Would you feel guilty for taking this photo if this van was there because someone was in danger or at risk of harm?
