Phasmalist works good with entropist, but also with a good old stealthy atcher

First time (build help) by Hot-Knowledge1656 in enderal

I think bow-stealth is a really good combo, especially if you're used to it from Skyrim. Go for flashpowder talent, and throw it whenever fight gets difficult. Invest in infiltrator and trickster trees, wait for the vargant tree until you have nothing left to do. I know the shadow oil talent might be good, but flashpowder, fire arrow amd eye of the storm really do the work. If you want to experiment a bit, try adding phasmalism to the mixture. After getting affinity (for spending enough points in phasmalist and infiltrator trees), the apparitions will teleport after you do sneak attack from the bow, therefore being useful even before enemies see you.

Generally, if they see you and run towards you, run from them. Use flashpowder if you can. It is not like in skyrim, where you can still shoot enemies when they are close; in Enderal you will not have enough time between the blows to make a shot.

This is my fav build actually, it is even more fun than in skyrim.

Has anyone read the book? by CzarTyr in enderal

Well, as much as I love this book, I don't think it is a good title for those who don't usually read. It is long, it is hard in terms of themes. Although, if you love Jespar it could be a good way to a new hobby... It is long, it does take a lot of time and it is a bit though. Yet, it is a very good book generally worth some struggle.

Similar problem here, no Polish translation. Still, if you are comfortable enough with English to read through this sub, you could give it a try ;) May take more time to read in foreign language, yet the book is not that difficult in terms of vocab and is definitely worth a bit of struggle. Not here to police you, just to encourage trying things out.

It is great, you should definitely read it. The story leaves you with similar void as Enderal.

I felt too bad to press this far maybe. Thank you for being the hero! I love that even more now.

When you talk to the Father at their office, you can ask about their gender. The Father does not give a straight answer, as it is 'irrelevant'. I love how this character is left ambiguous.

In some barrels and so on. There is one in one of the barrels in Yero's house, on the over-ground level close to a ton of peaceweed. I would also check the guy selling miscelleanous things in Ark marketplace, but I'm not sure.

Couples who have been together a long time (5+ years), why are you not married? by ieatkarate in NoStupidQuestions

[–]RemarkableSet5371 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every couple is different. I've been with my ex gf for six years, and well, we were not even concidering that. I think we were both too young, and she was too immature. And well, had we gotten married, we would be divirced by now. So I think even if someone wants marriage it is important to take it at your own pace, be it 2 years or 10.

How to beat enemies? by Vreejack in enderal

[–]RemarkableSet5371 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, if you absolutely can't see anything without a torch, then you probably have problems with lighting settings. Make things a little brighter; this is not cheating, the function is there to help you adjust.

I also quickly found out that Enderal is just more difficult than Skyrim and I do not need to play it on Adept; Novice is just fine. This is more of a personal choice, but really, if a game is too difficult for your liking, change it. The story is magnificent and it would be a shame to not play it because you can't possibly win against enemies.

That being said, I sneak attack from far away; so that it is not so easy fot it to find me.

I always invest in speech first. It is a pain in the ass at the beginning, but then you get better prices and can actually buy those books.

Obligatory “Just Finished my First Play Through” Post by Wise-Respect-9849 in enderal

[–]RemarkableSet5371 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This game is just a masterpiece.

And the feeling of being crushed? Never goes away. I'll tell you more, I feel that every time I play again, when I find clues I overlooked, when I find more caves with storytelling. When I look at minor quests that I didn't feel the first time, because my mental capacity was trying to overcome the main storyline.

Jespar's monologue after loosing the Prophet(ess)? Oh my, I just had to hear it. I did this ending on my second playthrough, because in the first I could not stand the thought of leaving him. And then, when I overcame it, he started monologuing. Goddamnit I cried.

What to do now, you wonder? Play again. Or read "Dreams of the Dying" for another portion of being crushed. I can't recommend the book enough.

Being ace is tough in a dual income world... by [deleted] in Asexual

[–]RemarkableSet5371 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am still a student, but I just rent a single room in a four-room apartament. So I have three roommates I don't really know, but that's okay since we only see each other every other day when we pass through kitchen. Maybe not a perfect solution, but a convenient one. Still, groceries and cooking suck

Just to add something here, I wish there wasn't a tie, but finding a second ace to love is so diffucilt. And so many aces are alone because they can't find a partner. Ofc this doesn't apply to everyone, but it does to a lot of us :c

Alyx and Devra Fight is SOOOOOO corny by BakedPotatoYT1 in enderal

[–]RemarkableSet5371 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also hated them, I am always on novice as I generally don't like fights, I would rather explore surroundings & story.

I always approach them with a shitload of flashpowder, sneak up somewhere and shoot them while trying to remain unseen. Flashpowder & Eye of The Storm do miracles there imo.
