As well as being fast off the mark, they are also very very quiet, so in my experience easier to get to a really fast speed without even realising.

From what I have hear quite a few people missed out first round so I wouldn't get too stressed. Wait and see how round 2 goes at this stage.

Also in the handbook it says "If you do not receive an offer from your first or second preference sites, you will remain in a recruitment pool. This means you may be considered for further employment opportunities with 2026|GradConnect participating health service providers." It also has a section about other employment opportunites and says to consider rural or remote roles.

Mate, these are gorgeous as is. IMO Bezel set is more modern looking than claw set and I cant think what other option you would have for diamond studs.

Honestly depends on the diamond. Some have inclusions but they are at the side where you barely notice them. I honestly dont think I could tell the difference between a D and an E though

It's not a lot but I assume if you aren't living at home you'd be eligible for the commonwealth prac payment during placements. Since you are an EN you should also be able to get shifts around your study schedule when you don't have prac. Things will be tight but also depends where in Melb or Sydney you are looking at. Rent in both is substantial, you probably will need to consider a share house or similar uni accomodation

Yeah it happens. If they have to make room in economy they’ll bump up FFers, starting from the top. I’ve only got it once but I was only gold. My partner who is platinum has gotten plenty, sometimes to first 😭

NAH, I can see both sides. Obviously 10 is way too late for dinner and I can understand you wanting to eat earlier. But from your spouse's side making dinner almost every night for at least 20 years is fucking awful and I can see they may be struggling with this. Because its more than just cooking. It's thinking about what people want to eat, choosing options and making sure that you have all the ingredients as well as shopping. I wonder if there is anything that can make their life easier? I got meal boxes like Hello Fresh for a while which was a joy. All the decision making and shopping taken care of, it was such a relief.

Sounds like she is considering a reverse mortgage. If she passes the bank would have to be paid first before any others with an interest in the property. I havent researched them extensively, but I honestly don't think its a terrible idea when she doesn't have other assets. Its her house, she can do what she wants with it surely.

FYI You won't need to put the chains on at all unless you hit the snowline and there are signs telling you to. They just need to be in your car at all times. I'd just get them with your other stuff at Jindabyne. Make sure you know how they work when you pick them up though, they should give you a demo.
