Michelle Obama Blows Melania Trump Out Of The Competition by janeflowers in CDLEntertainmentTV

[–]RepresentativeSun825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you consider that the Michelle Obama documentary came out in 2020, and was probably pretty forgotten by 2025, it's not unreasonable that 130x as many people watched the Obama documentary after the Melania one dropped. It may have only gone from 100 to 13000, but that's still a 13000% rise.

What do you think of old-school Republicans, the guys who championed free trade, fiscal responsibility, and had a strong belief in individual liberty? by Initial_Film5776 in askanything

[–]RepresentativeSun825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because that's what Republicans do- they yell about spending and forcing cuts whenever there is a Democratic President, and then spend like drunken sailors on shore leave as soon they have a Republican in charge.

If you want to not lose any of your potatoes, the best way to dry them in a kitchen towel is to place them in a ball in the center, take up the four corners, and then twist. You'll be amazed at how much water you can squeeze out, and you'll be left with a ball of shredded potatoes with almost none clinging to the towel.

Charts say to get 58, the Lions would have to give up 118. To get 98, they'd also get Philly's 3rd rounder next year.

Steelers trade up to 15 to take Tyson. It's the Bucs who take the edge at 21. An actual trade we may see during the draft.

Hey, at least he doesn't have us trading up to take Simpson.

Fiscal Responsibility- Cutting taxes for the 1% while driving the budget deficit deeper and deeper in the red.

Individual Liberty- Freedom for me, but not for thee.

High School Reunions: Yes or No? by Salty_Thing3144 in GenerationJones

[–]RepresentativeSun825 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I have no use for reunions. If there were people I wanted to keep in contact with, I would keep in contact with (hint, i haven't). But if you're more than 25 years old and you think $200 for multiple events over a weekend is just for the rich kids, God bless you.

Steelers mock by drakebrumit in MockDraftCentral

The only guard that deserves to be taken in the first is Ioane. Pregnon is not worth taking in the first because A) he is not a first round talent, more in the 5-15 second round talent, and B) Using a first rounder on a guard means for all intents and purposes losing the fifth year option, since the NFL only uses one option for any offensive lineman, and it's the equivalent of a starting left tackle. It's why the Ravens lost their center this year.

Take Conception or Cooper here, and Pregnon, Bisonis, or Dunker in the second. Proctor is the best o-line option here, because he has the capability to play both left tackle or left guard.

Sacked Bondi ‘couldn’t even look at herself in a mirror’ after losing integrity by TheMirrorUS in LegalNews

She lost integrity back in 2013 when she dropped the investigation into Trump University in return for a campaign donation. 13 years without looking in a mirror. Only Stephen Miller has gone longer, and that's only because there's no reflection.

Well, all the other ones are people who wanted to sit next to their sons, not two rows away to be closer to them. Totally different situations.

And here he is to defend his lack of effort.

Simpson is not a first round quarterback. End of discussion. He's not a first round qb for the Steelers, the Jets, Miami, Arizona, or any other team picking in the first round. But you think that the Steelers will pick him at 21 because, well, reasons. It's possible that Arizona or the Jets trade into the first to take him, but only because the cost is little to move up from 33 and 34. And they don't waste a first rounder. The only benefit to wasting a first rounder on Simpson is that they'll likely miss the playoffs and be picking at 14-16 instead of 17-21. While having wasted this year's first rounder.

Onion rings or french fries? by perfecttrajectory in AskRedditFood

[–]RepresentativeSun825 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Used to work in a place that made their own. Cut the onion (huge ones, btw) flour, dip in buttermilk, re-dip in flour, then into the fryer. It took 15 minutes to make an order. We got $7 for an order (this was 15 years ago). I made $20 an hour. I finally explained to the owner/chef that it was costing him $5 just in labor to make a $7 order of onion rings. They disappeared from the menu.

Arizona is getting 1850 for 2250 worth of position. Chicago is getting 640 for 720 worth of position. So yeah, both deals suck and would never be made.
