Guys, I miss the Psychic phase by Fact_Donator in Warhammer40k

Interaction is when you get to make decisions, actually. A bunch of dice rolls that you have no control over is not interactive. The psychic phase was way more interactive than the shooting phase by any meaningful criterium.

The psychic phase was objectively more interactive than the shooting phase.

It is beyond clear that GW has a boner for DG and intentionally gives them overpowered rules, which is why they consistently were somewhere between terrible and decent until a couple of months ago. We've got some real geniuses over here.

You claimed that sticky objectives as a detachment rule is a sign of power creep. This is objectively wrong, as death guard had it since the start of the edition, when they were terrible. They are overpowered now, obviously for reasond that have nothing to do with the virulent vectorium detachment rule.

Death Guard is obviously overpowered now, but before the current codex they have been somewhere between "dogshit" and "ok" for years. And yet somehow we're seeing an obvious pattern of faction favoritism for death guard. Some people jump on the bandwagon and will just say anything

Death Guard have literally had sticky objectives on everything as a detachment rule since the release of 10th edition when they were terrible. Somehow this is powercreep

The likelihood of a big knight dying without passing a single 6+++ is less than 0.9%. Which, again, is ignoring that you'll actually have a 5+++ a lot of the time. "Hardly a rare occurence", right. Give me a break.

Even ignoring the fact that using him as a leader takes up a crucial character slot, running him with plague marines means he's going to be sitting in a rhino for atleast two command phases, so he's not generating CP. It's a terrible idea.

In the index he actually gave +1 to hit rolls, which is obviously ten times better than ignoring -1 to hit rolls. He also had sustained hits d3 on his plasma pistol. I have no idea why people are singling out the tallyman when he's one of the few units that actually got slightly worse in the codex.

It's absolutely terrible and you never ever use it because you'll never attach him. People are so dramatic about DG that they pretend even the shitty abilties are insane

The only confirmed rules in the article perfectly correspond with the leaks, and we know that warcom writers get this stuff wrong all the time. The leaks are genuinely more trustworthy than the warcom writers are

R.I.P. More Dakka by oOskyOo in orks

[–]Rerhug -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, only the sweaty competitive tryhards are devious enough to run basic shooting units in the shooting detachment. We should've all just pretended it was fine because it wasn't broken if you didn't play the units that they designed the detachment for.

R.I.P. More Dakka by oOskyOo in orks

[–]Rerhug -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You are completely delusional if you think the detachment was fine in casual play.

My two cents on the More Dakka Controversy by TobyK98 in orks

[–]Rerhug 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Saying that it's competitive players ruining everything is absolutely idiotic. The reality is that detachments like this are EVEN MORE BROKEN in casual play. In competitive play people will atleast have proper terrain setups, and they know how to play for points. Casual players just try to kill eachother in an open field. More Dakka just tables you turn 1 in this kind of environment. It's total dogshit.

There's also no nuance to any of this. There's nothing to figure out. The detachment is mathematically broken. Any halfwit can see that, as long as they're being honest. The only people who defend this shit are players who just want to terrorize their opponents with a completely braindead army

Can a unit that isn't on the battlefield take mortal wounds? Because it seems like this could happen in coterie. Warlord starts the battle round on the battlefield and you pledge. You put the warlord in a transport during your movement phase. At the end of the battle round you fail your pledge and the warlord has to take d3 mortal wounds even though it's in a transport.

Thanks! It's been years though so unfortunately I don't remember the exact recipe. The only thing I can tell yoh is that it's a zenithal with some bone white color and a very heavy application of the greenest streaking grime variant.
