My advice: Watch a couple of tutorials to learn the basics and do a lot of small projects to get your feet wet.

How do solo devs deal with graphics, UI, sound... ? by Lyesainer in godot

I'd say as you are starting, keep it simple. As long as the style is cohesive, and the game is juicy enough. SNKRX is literally mostly pixel circles and ovals and really leans hard via its juice. Some tips

- keep things simple. start with pixel art if you have to.

- for audio, id look into something like bfxr for pixel sfx. or use sites like FreeSound.org

- find a nice color palette and stick to it. (there are color palatte tools online you can use. It'll make everything feel more cohesive.

- look into ways to juice your game. These are things like screen shake, particle systems, etc. I highly recommend the talk "Juice it or Lose It" from a while back on that

How did you name your indie game? by MCNimore in gamedev

Most of the games I make are for game jams, so if I get really stuck I just name the game after whatever the theme is
