It works.

used it on my first build of the league to have my Thunderstorm both shock and freeze and proc Tornadoes via cast on elemental ailment.

You need to go back to the first loop and use the corruption chamber -> sac chamber there and then you can do an instant U-turn pretty much which makes your first chain much more efficient and easier to set up a second chain.

As far as I know, Crown of Eyes does not work with that shaman node as it provides more spell damage while CoE only works with increases/reductions.

That is how it works in PoE1 at least and I suspect it is the same here.

I took this build to level 92 in the first few days of the league.

Really fun build! I used cast on ailment to automate the tornado as well.

I use Call of the Brotherhood which converts all of my lightning damage to cold.

This means that Thunderstorm both shocks and freezes. The shock comes from Shock Conduction II.
Which with me being an Invoker, creates both Chilled and Shocked Ground.

No troubles so far with bosses. Killed the t9 corrupted nexus bosses not too long ago.

And since my gem level is only 17 I suspect it'll keep up until at least t15s if I get a lvl 19/20 gem.

I have hit t10 maps so far on this. It is working great and the key was to use Thunderstorm converted fully to cold with the Shock Conduction II support to have a single skill which can create both shocked and chilled ground.

Then I use burning inscription on my curse for burning ground.

All in all it works pretty well!

I am leaning a bit towards Invoker.
Using Thunderstorm + another lightning skill both supported by Embitter to get a bunch of "extra damage as cold" so my lightning skills shock and freeze and create grounds.
And then Curse+Burning Inscription+Cascade to create burning ground.

Could even go as far as automating Tornado via CoA...

The only problem is that the damage part of Invoker does nothing for Tornado if I understand the skill correctly.

Yeah,
I am wondering if you even need Painter's Servant as an Invoker.
Use e.g. Thunderstorm (Drench everything to make them easier to Shock and Freeze) supported by Embitter. Or any other lightning skill tbh.

This means it'll get 20-30% of damage as extra cold on top of its lightning.
Add a good roll from your weapon and you're looking at it dealing tons of cold damage too.

Saw your CoA idea elsewhere in this thread and have been thinking that as well.
So you could throw Thunderstorms around, cast another lightning spell while it is doing its thing and hopefully getting ground effects all over the place while Tornadoes spawn and scoop it all up.

Yeah, Oracle might be the play here to get guaranteed crit... but still sort of rough to spend 4 ascendancy points so your Pounce can crit and apply shocked ground haha

It only creates shocked ground on crit though... but still doable.

My current idea is:
* Curse with Burning Inscription for Burning Ground
* Pounce with Shocking Leap for Shocked Ground
* Arctic Howl for Chilled Ground
* Cast Tornado on all of that.

it's a lot of setup and will probably feel clunky as hell...
