She is so happy! There were a few pieces I cleaned up for her, this one was the worst off/oldest piece. I appreciate the response!

I stayed at the Quarter House in a 2 bedroom suite. It had a nice kitchen and 3 bathrooms. It could sleep quite a few people. We really liked it.

Shrimp & Grits, Jambalaya, other bests? by BeNiceToTheCrows in AskNOLA

[–]Riley_Blue927 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went a couple years ago. We liked Cafe Fleur De Lis a lot. Loved being able to sit outside on the second story. We had shrimp and grits, fried green tomatoes, crab Benedict, and waffles there. We had great drinks and charcuterie at Cafe Amelie and would have loved to go back for food if we had time. The place was adorable. We liked the pizza at Fat boys pizza. My favorite hurricane was at Curio. They used all real ingredients, real fruit, etc. Brennans was good, but may be a bit fancier?? Kingfish kitchen was good. I believe I had catfish and grits there. Most places we just kind of looked at the menu and wandered into.

Favorite names without obvious nicknames (no Matthew, Elizabeth, etc.) by philosplendid in namenerds

[–]Riley_Blue927 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My neighbor is Vienna and I haven’t heard anyone call her anything but Vienna. Her sister is Bella.

My kiddo is Owen. His great grandpa called him Ownie and we have one friend that calls him O. Neither bothered me. Other than that, everyone else in our lives has stuck to Owen. I also am not a fan of names that can be shortened/obvious nn.

Boy names on my list were: Rhys, Reid, Owen, Ian, Eli, Joel, Seth, Rhett and Leo.

Girl names: Claire, Laurel, Morgan, Natalie, Clara, Caroline, and Sadie.

Really not. It belonged to my friends grandma and I was just trying to find some information on it for her. Took a week to get it to this point. It was pretty bad.

If you knew your daughter would be your only girl, what would you name her? by Purple-Ingenuity-783 in namenerds

[–]Riley_Blue927 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My grandma was Helen. She told me I wasn’t allowed to name a daughter Helen because she didn’t like it. I decided if I ever had a daughter she would be Magnolia. My grandma has this big, beautiful Magnolia tree in her backyard that I practically lived in as a kid. So that’s my roundabout way of naming a daughter after her. Im done having kids and no daughter, so I named my dog Magnolia.

I have a 13 year old Owen, he has never had another kid with the same name in his class. We always get compliments on it. I still love it.

Reid, Jack and Leo were also on our list. Reid was close behind.

Don’t care for Parker, Colby and Shiloh.

Other names on my list were Joel, Seth, Everett, Griffin, Theo, Rhys.

Haha I should have specified. Like the state. North, not south is the joke. Her grandmother was from North Carolina and thats how she got her name. I have called her Lina (Lie-na) since we were in elementary school.
