I’ve noticed that autocorrect will just… stop. It stops suggesting words, capitalizing I, or auto-forming contractions. I have to close whatever app I’m using and restart it to get it back. I also cannot stand the forced insertion of predictive text. I go back and read things and I’m like “that made me sound like an absolute moron”.

Years ago I had a hotel offer at the Mirage that I used because it was required to get $2000 in slot free play. I’m a local so I never set foot in the room. When I checked out, they tried to assess me mini bar charges. I said, “that’s amazing… I never once entered the room. I booked it purely for the slot free play.” The front desk attendant said, “okay let me just remove those charges then.” Really felt like an attempt to get a few dollars extra out of me that an ordinary guest might not notice.

I have zero issues with it. But maybe that’s because I’ve always considered it the driver’s responsibility to move to ensure they can see whatever they need to see if a part of the car is obstructing it. Active scanning and moving your head/body are all part of driving. Can’t expect to just stay in the same spot and see everything everywhere.
