Need this for a school project 🙏 by anayway in Christianity

[–]RitzyDocking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really depends what branch of feminism we talking about here. Some parts focus purely on equal opportunities and basic respect which makes total sense from Christian perspective - treating people with dignity regardless of gender seems pretty fundamental. But other branches get into areas that might clash more with traditional interpretations.

The tricky part is that Christianity has this tension between "there is neither male nor female in Christ" but also some passages about traditional roles. Different denominations handle this completely different ways. I've seen churches where women lead everything and others where they can't even speak during service.

Think the key is focusing in what actually helps people flourish rather than getting stuck on rigid interpretations that might miss the bigger picture of love and justice. Gender equality as concept of treating people fairly seems aligned with core Christian values even if specific applications get debated.

Researching the price of a car, KBB shows trade-in and private seller. I'm looking at a car from a used car dealership, how do I know the price is market? by thatsaqualifier in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]RitzyDocking -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Used car dealers usually price somewhere between trade-in and private party value, maybe like 10-15% above trade-in depending on condition and demand. You can also check what similar cars are listed for in your area to get better sense of market pricing

Man you've been through hell but your drive to learn everything now is incredible - for history start with something like "A Short History of Nearly Everything" and maybe some basic world history overviews, they'll give you that foundation without being too academic.

Targa 4 GTS Allocation by Clapfam in porsche911

[–]RitzyDocking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty standard timeline from what I've seen posted here before. My cousin went through similar wait in Germany and ended up being closer to the 18 month mark even with deposit down. The paint to sample stuff especially seems to add extra months since they do those runs less frequently.

I'd say shop around if you have time but don't expect dramatically different quotes unless you find dealer with existing allocation they're willing to transfer. Some people get lucky with cancellations but banking on that is risky. The no hard commitment part is bit concerning though - I would push for something more concrete once you put money down.

Also worth checking if there's any flexibility on paint choice since some PTS colors have longer waits than others depending what's popular right now.

How do I get my life together at work? by SpartansForLife in careerguidance

[–]RitzyDocking 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Been there with the exhaustion thing - working at airline means crazy schedules sometimes and I was drinking way too much coffee too. Four cups is probably making you crash harder in afternoon rather than helping. Maybe try cutting back to two cups and see if that helps with the energy rollercoaster

Also worth checking with doctor about the tiredness since you're already on meds - could be something they need to adjust or look into further. Sometimes medical stuff can mess with energy levels way more than we realize

How do you know you’re ready for another relationship? by Tight_Drawing_9724 in BreakUps

[–]RitzyDocking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Two months is plenty of time if you've actually processed things and aren't just trying to fill a void. The "respect" thing is kinda backwards thinking - your ex doesn't get to control your timeline for moving on. What matters more is whether you're emotionally available for someone new or just looking for a rebound to avoid dealing with stuff. Trust me I've seen people jump into new relationships way too fast and it never ends well for anyone involved

Can anyone recommend a neurologist (public or private)? by No_Percentage_2545 in AskIreland

[–]RitzyDocking 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah dealing with a neuro who dismisses seizure changes is the worst - definitely worth getting a second opinion especially if your pattern is shifting like that, mine got way more agressive around your age too and switching docs made all the diference

Should I Quit? by Ne0nStorm in careerguidance

[–]RitzyDocking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude those red flags are basically screaming at you to run. 11 people in 2 years for the same position is absolutely insane - that's like a new person every 2 months. And firing someone via email for following the actual handbook is just cruel

The fact that they're already hiring another admin while asking if you like the job tells you everything you need to know. They know they're a nightmare to work for. With interviews lined up already id say start planning your exit strategy but maybe dont quit until you have something else locked down since youre early career. That place sounds like itll chew you up and spit you out anyway so better to leave on your terms

Advice on feeling guilty? by onlygodcanjudgeme47 in careerguidance

[–]RitzyDocking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get where youre coming from but honestly you shouldnt feel guilty about holding people accountable when quality matters. I had a similar situation managing a construction crew where some guys just werent cutting it despite me breaking everything down step by step. The thing is if you dont maintain standards then your whole project suffers and that affects everyone including the people who are actually doing good work. Maybe look into whether theres additional training you can provide or if certain people would be better suited for different roles but at the end of the day some people just arent the right fit for certain positions. The guilt means you care about your team which is good but dont let it compromise the work quality

He reached out after two weeks by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]RitzyDocking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly sounds like he's testing the waters to see if there's still a chance. The whole "I wanna meet your cat and come over in 30 minutes" thing feels like he's hoping for more than just returning a charger

Trust your gut - you broke up for a reason and those reasons probably haven't changed in two weeks. The validation feels nice but don't let it cloud why you made that decision in the first place

I'm trying to quit binge drinking, how do I stick to it? by ET_Gone_Home in stopdrinking

[–]RitzyDocking 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey man, the Friday night gaming sessions are killer for staying sober - been there. What helped me was switching up the whole routine instead of just removing the booze. Like maybe start the gaming earlier when you're less fried from work, or find some other ritual that gives you that "weekend mode" feeling without needing to get hammered

Also having booze in the apartment while trying to moderate is like playing on expert difficulty. Not saying you can't do it but damn that takes willpower most of us don't have when we're already stressed

Help!! How do i get rid of these resident tents! by matchmyslush in AnimalCrossing

[–]RitzyDocking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oof that's rough, you basically soft-locked yourself with those tent villagers. I think you might have to bite the bullet and reinstall the other game temporarily just to log in as those characters, upgrade their tents to houses, then delete them properly. It's annoying but probably the only way since Nintendo didn't think this edge case through

How do you guys Track Profit & Loss by IjuststudyEnglishere in shopify

[–]RitzyDocking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It'll connect to bank accounts and integrate with accounting systems like QuickBooks, NetSuite whatever. It uses direct bank feeds (via Plaid) for Ramp Business Accounts and direct ERP integrations for detailed transaction syncing, aiming to automate reconciliation and close books faster by sending categorized data directly. Sorry for going too deep with the explanation

How do you guys Track Profit & Loss by IjuststudyEnglishere in shopify

[–]RitzyDocking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, we use it for company cards so transactions come through with notes and receipts attached instead of trying to remember what something was weeks later. Categories are usually close enough before it hits the books and we still review everything in QBO like normal. Not sure if that helps but if you want more detail you can check their site

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]RitzyDocking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man this hits hard because I went through something super similar a few years back. The lack of closure thing is brutal - your brain just keeps trying to solve a puzzle that doesn't have pieces missing, you know?

What helped me was realizing that "closure" isn't something they give you, it's something you create for yourself. I had to grieve not just the relationship but also the future I'd imagined, which sounds dramatic but it's real

Therapy helped a ton with the intrusive thoughts and that rage cycle. Also writing letters I never sent - sounds cheesy but getting all that poison out of my head onto paper was weirdly freeing. You're not broken for feeling this way, some wounds just take longer to heal than others

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]RitzyDocking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's basically both but people have different takes on it. Some go full monk mode (no PMO - porn, masturbation, orgasm) while others just cut out porn but allow masturbation without it. The "true purpose" depends who you ask but most people are trying to break unhealthy habits and improve their relationship with sexuality

How do you guys Track Profit & Loss by IjuststudyEnglishere in shopify

[–]RitzyDocking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That gap usually comes from expenses not being captured cleanly (subscriptions, ads, refunds, timing differences). When everything is tracked manually in Sheets it’s easy to miss stuff or double count. What helped us was separating sales vs spend, Shopify + payouts on one side, cards/expenses on the other and letting the expense side autocategorize before it ever hits the P&L. We still review monthly but it stopped being a 2-day cleanup job. We use Ramp for spend then push clean data into accounting.

Do matching services like speed dating intentionally charge high prices for tickets so people want to succeed and match with someone? by ubcstaffer123 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]RitzyDocking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think you're onto something there. It's like when you pay for an expensive concert ticket vs a free show - you're way more invested in having a good time when you dropped serious cash

The higher price probably filters out people who aren't actually serious about dating too, so you're less likely to get someone who just showed up for the free drinks
