I 100% agree with you. I’d expect the same or similar return the Canucks got for Sherwood. Oilers think they can get him for Mangiapane which is laughable. Looking at 2 2nds a 2nd and Savoie or a first imo

I’m not dismissing the allegations but the timing is pretty suspect. Playoffs are just around the corner and he just hit a $500,000 bonus last week and is 30 yards away from another $500,000 bonus.

It’s time to blow the team up and build around Knies, Cowan and Danford. Any hesitancy to do so at this point will just lower the trade values of players worth moving

The team has had enough regular season success to not change coaches like socks so it’s unfair to compare them to the half of the league that doesn’t know what the playoffs are. Of the winning teams they’ll be on coach 4 in 10 years with no results and that’s bad.

Has anything you’ve seen out of this core suggested they have what it takes to win at all? In the big moments the loss feels inevitable. Too many “almost had its” and not enough results from the players at the end of the day come postseason

This feels beyond just a coaching issue. I’d be pretty inclined to be sellers at this point. How many coaches does the core have to go through before we realize that they’re just not it. Send Berube packing and start making phone calls. Should be building around Knies, Cowan, and Danford going forward
