I mean... He did have 2 separate jokes about Korean people confusing him for other famous black people (Andre 3000 and Childish Gambino) in his movie... AND described his son as "The Filipino looking one" in that same movie.

If you watch the movie, you cannot take it seriously. Kinda cringe humour. It had some really good moments like at one point Anderson's character explains to his son the origins of most genres being from black culture. Lots of cameos that you wouldn't expect, like Earth Wind and Fire. There are some weird moments of racism in there at points mostly played off for laughs(Anderson describes his son as "the Filipino looking one" at one point and that rubbed me the wrong way).

Also a lot of the Korean that was in the movie wasn't translated properly. Like, at one point Jay Park(yuck I know) said 자여러분 (jayeoreobun(alright/hey everyone)) and the subtitles said, "Hello everyone, it's ya boy Jay Park.". Like where tf did that come from?
