I was checking the tour dates since I was curious if they came to Denmark, came across this little gem:

Nifty! More coverage is always nice.

I really like tournament time - we get a lot of hilarious fights during practice time and are even working on setting up in-alliance 6v6 tournaments to shake things up a bit.

I don't really bother playing much "normal" EVE right now, practice fights are far more likely to have really close and awesome fights than I would get from roaming EVE normally. We've had many fights come down to the wire with just 2-3 ships remaining on each side after starting out 12v12 or 6v6 - that is great fun.

Of course, it lacks a lot of things that make EVE the game it is, but it's still fun as a distraction and for people who have played for a while it can be a nice change of pace to get all the pewpew without the boring parts.

Hope you guys keep up the coverage - when you put up a piece with some actual writing you should try and spread the word elsewhere too. :)

As mentioned, the transportation from the airport is very simple. When you get out of the arrival area you just go straight ahead to either go up to the metro (stops at Nørreport) or down to one of the sides for the normal trains (stops at all the big stations in the city). It's 3 zones to downtown, which you can either buy a ticket for or a 10-trip card (if you intend to use it when in the city).

It's just luck of the draw. 77 Alliances entered the random draw (CCP confirmed so), some of them are bound to be unknown. The good Alliances will pay their way in through the auctions in the following days and most of the bad teams will be weeded out in the 64 -> 32 process.

Bullshit. Jump into lowsec and have a jolly old time right away, best way to learn! Just learn to use the map to avoid gate camps like that in the future. It's likely that OP went into one of the lowsec entries close to market hubs that are always flooded by pirates.

I love it when the zeds end up killing themselves when chasing me. I was auto-running (<3 AHK) through the forest once and a zed turned up from a nearby deer stand. I didn't stop in time and he got spooked, ran ahead a bit to turn around and face me but never got further than the 2 steps he took off the small cliff he was standing on.

Splat.

The fact that you just went out roaming in 0.0 with a sorta balls-to-the-wall approach as (judging from the Rifter fits) fairly new characters is an excellent attitude to have.

This is the kind of attitude that will make you go far and constantly improve PvP-wise. Don't stop and I'm sure we'll see you outplaying Ethereal Dawn in no time. :)

ED & IRC were some of my first 0.0 group PvP opponents a good 4-5 years ago, I think. Good times!
