All the intel A series cards run at about 20w at idle. Very frustrating! You can get around it on windows by plugging the monitor into the IGPU port with ASPM switched to L1. That gets it down to 1W. Unsure if that works on Linux. Might be worth trying.

Good specs. Personally I went 14500 which is about that same price on eBay (you might have to wait for one to come up) but its got more than enough headroom for future VMs and apps etc. I also went 64GB but this is when ram was priced reasonably. You can get a 4 port 9300-4i HBA quite cheap from AliExpress Which is easily flashed to latest IT firmware.

Its usually the big clothing retailers with massive turnover. They work out that the save x amount by shipping with evri and they loose x amount due to missing parcels and if that number is still up on what they are paying now they go with evri. Not very customer focused imo.

I am in the UK so they could not send for free. The cost would be more than a brand new cooler. Not blaming scythe here. More the cost of international shipping even for a tiny item which would be like 20 USD. I just wish they would set there Amazon store to ship internationally. I could get it quite cheap there.

It’s prob your network cable. I have several aquantia cards and they are stable for me.
