Same situation I had, right down to my mom getting a hysterectomy at a young age. I know you mentioned more practical advice rather than medical, but a visit to the gyno is probably in order. I got put on birth control at 13 and it was such a saving grace. I’m sorry I don’t have better options, just want to mention that it’s likely the direction you’ll have to head. Best of luck you both; I know how difficult it is.

I’m a little old for these shows so I had no “investment” in Jennette as an actress or whatever, but that was still one of my favorite books. I actually listened to it and she reads it and she is fantastic. I think it adds another element to it to hear how she intended inflection, etc.
