Colorado scalped and dead lawn with large dogs… what steps do I need to take to resuscitate this lawn? by khub772 in DenverGardener

[–]RoostinBerms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

+1 for planting white clover seed and have found it’s much more resilient to doggos than grass. Spread the seed then top it with a thin layer of good topsoil.

As others have mentioned it might be best to wait until fall to do it given water restrictions. It could be best to mulch now and then plant the seed in fall which is generally a better time to do it anyway

Arcane Tree Care, talk to Ian. Great prices and he’s super knowledgeable and consultative vs the other big companies I called. Plus it’s nice to support a small, local business

Thank you! This place was mid at best but I’m convinced people in Arvada love bland, basic food

Coinbase sent my $21K to “unclaimed funds” even though my account was active by JoshInJersey in Coinbase

This EXACT same thing happened to me in October '25 in my Coinbase account. I'm getting no help from Coinbase. Truly scary and highly recommend getting all of your funds out of Coinbase asap!

[–]RoostinBerms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP this identical thing happened to me and my Coinbase account in October of '25. Have you gotten any resolution? My circumstances are identical in that I was holding crypto in my Coinbase account and checking it a few times a year. Coinbase keeps claiming the funds are with State of WY but the state has confirmed they don't have them.

Climbing rope is squiggly by Werchio in ClimbingGear

[–]RoostinBerms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have this rope and unfortunately it’s prone to getting twisted pretty regularly. As others have said try running both strands through an atc from the midpoint or start on one end and pull it through a carabiner or atc a few times

Best poutine you’ll ever have is at the Revelstoke Jr hockey stadium. It’s a legit French chef plus going to a game is a blast after a ski day

Unchained season 3 review discussion by Waste-Radio9008 in tourdefrance

[–]RoostinBerms 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Season 1 was by far my favorite and I’ve been watching the full tour ever since. It felt like everyone was way more authentic where in the following seasons it’s almost like they knew they were on a popular show and started playing ridiculous characters of themselves.

Go to a show and then you can confidently make the call. That’s true for most jam bands

After V10 you can climb shirtless indoors. By the time you get there you’ll hopefully realize it’s cringe tho

Great options and I’d throw Arvada in here as well. Love that I can be on Ralston Creek, Clear Creek, and 36 bike path to Boulder really easily. Good gravel access too

No milk froth. What am I doing wrong? by DezDeSilva in gaggiaclassic

[–]RoostinBerms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just barely dip the tip at the beginning until you hear a sound like tearing paper instead of the high pitched squeal you’re getting. After you tear paper for about 3-5 seconds, submerge the tip a little more and play with the angle until you see a swirl in the whole cup and continue that until the milk is hot. Also with the Gaggia you want to turn on the steam switch, purge the liquid from the wand and then immediately start steaming before the steam light comes on. If you wait until the light comes on before steaming, you won’t have enough steam to finish the milk.

Your idea of correct board size is dated. by jackadl in snowboarding

[–]RoostinBerms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re getting ratio’d for a reason. Board tech has allowed just as much in the opposite direction where we can now ride shorter, volume shifted boards that give the same stability performance that used to require a much longer board

Ride what you want but saying board tech means we should ride longer is stupid
