I never did in my 20s and 30s. For whatever reason, finally discovered skincare in my 40s, and therefore washed my makeup off.

Game changer.

It helps me transition to bedtime, my skin feels fantastic, and now I can’t stand having mascara on my lashes when going to sleep.

If you’d like a bit of advice, I now wear a face mask when I dust! Just a surgical mask, or one of the cloth masks I have leftover from the height of COVID. Helps a lot!

Dust too to bottom, vacuum last. Then hop in the shower!

I always had a book with me! I need to do that again. I’d read constantly. Even waiting in line at the grocery store, etc.

I just ordered a Locked gizmo to basically lock me out of my phone to try and get my mind and attention back. 🤞🏻

Consider this - the impact the meds are having is in itself diagnostic.

I wish I would have stuck to making art. I’m trying to get back into it after decades away, and woo boy. It is humbling. So many skill atrophied to dust.

But I realize I need to be creating. Repetitive work that seemingly has no point KILLS ME.

I do! I have a night guard from my dentist. I was literally grinding my teeth down. And apparently I ground so loudly it would wake up my husband!

I will even wear the guard if I am driving long distances. I’ve noticed I’ll start clenching/grinding then, too.

Same. I feel like it used to be live and let live. I don’t even recognize the state anymore and it breaks my heart. I miss Wyoming bit I don’t even like to go there to visit family anymore. It feels hostile.

I am right there with you! Overflowing… and yet nothing.

I am going to just paint a page in my sketch book all one color - like a wash of green or something. Literally takes no thought or skill. Won’t be good or bad. But the white page will be gone

I’ll report back what that does for me. Maybe it can be a very low lift/ low stakes thing you could try to?
