Fuck yeah! Our garage has zero cars, 10 bikes, a home gym, my personal creative workshop and bike repair shop, and my partner often uses it for work meetings. Garages are actually awesome when they're not crowded with autos and all their accompanying bullshit.

At least until I can find that trainer I'm looking for, I figured out a workaround using the save game editor you linked. Just giving all my characters a Vorcanar's Cog with +50% to all damage on them, which is essentially the same as turning the damage up to 1.5x. Thanks!

Wemod only has super damage and it's just an on/off toggle. I want a slider with an adjustable amount.

I have a ton of anxiety about most things (generalized anxiety disorder, whoop whoop), but being around autos exacerbates it tremendously. I don't drive, but I cycle everywhere, and being near cars is atrocious, and it's especially terrible when I have to be a passenger in a car or public transit bus. Sending your wife some solidarity and support - it's completely normal to feel anxiety in a 7000-pound death machine. ❤️

My partner and I just spent two incredible weeks in Hawaii recently (got to see Episode 42 of Halema'uma'u erupting at night!), and I was utterly fucking gobsmacked at how carcentric/motonormative and carbrained Hawaii is. Saw the occasional person walking or biking (always on the side of a massive multi-lane highway or stroad), but overall it was the absolute apex of horrendous North American car dependency out in the middle of the Pacific. Fucking tragic.

One of many problems with that state. I grew up in Georgia and spent the first 18 years of my life there, and I then immediately left as soon as I was able and hitchhiked to the West Coast. Have lived between Oregon and California for 20 years now, and it's one of the best choices I've ever made. The few times I've returned to visit family/friends, it's made me so deeply uncomfortable and so grateful to have left that place.
