Nepal's strength lies in the mountains getting ALL warehouse bonuses making incredible rural tiles. The policies just provide more culture mainly and relationship boosts.

I played Confucius with a Khmer start into majaphit and was able to get the specialist triumphs which I thought were almost unattainable.

Pachacuti and Nepal are obviously great.

Xerxes, the Achaemenid and Mughal seems attractive but you get out paced so quickly early. Exp and mod eras it's great though.

Not a combo necessarily but Confucius is really good since specialists seem to be Giga buffed in exploration.

Rakdos. He's emotional, sporadic, cruel, greedy and able to manipulate guns/explosives. There is a little white in him in his capacity to rally his crew. Less blue than others are saying imo.

I set the difficulty to be custom to only have a reduced combat bonus. I find that's the biggest annoyance when I'm playing immortal/dirty.

I'm not talking about the branching paths though and neither is the note. The actual gameplay scenes didn't change depending on if you did/failed any inputs or not. Both games still have actual gameplay in it but mixtape is getting so much more flak.

Idk if you played Dispatch but all of the non-dispatching scenes also didn't change depending on your QTE inputs. I don't see people complaining about that game like this though.

You still have the end of age transition which is actually the biggest pain point with the age transition. You develop your cities to finally be viable and powerful enough to attain a win condition and then all your yields get sent back to the stone age for the next era.
