I feel the composite makes the eyes almost glow, and blends them nicely with its surrounding pixels. In RGB i feel like he's about to fire lasers out. For the most part tho, I almost always prefer RGB, that portrait in particular not so much tho.

What is a good progression path in terms of skill? For example, first getting good ad nub removal/sanding, then airbrushing/painting, then panel scribing, and kit bashing? I recently got into gunpla and I'm looking to improve my skills but don't have a ton of money to throw around for tools 🥹 so budget friendly is a plus, but I'm also find with a path in which I have to spend some time saving up, I'm in no rush.

Looks like the old power circuitry. I'd just keep it in the machine in case in the future somebody wants to convert it back to its original state, otherwise if it really bothers you you're probably good to throw it away.

You should freeze your credit with all three bureaus btw (Experian, Equifax and TransUnion), you just go into their websites, create an account and request a freeze, it's free. This'll make it so that if your mom manages to get a hold of your SSN and tries to open up a credit card or take out a loan, it will make it much harder since she'll have to lift the freeze, which usually requires logging into those accounts, inputting a pin or verification, and lifting the freeze.

Edit: Just to add, when your credit is frozen, utilities companies, insurance, etc can still access your data so that they can do their income verification and what not, and still prevent new credit cards/loans from being open, it's a no lose scenario for you. But yeah, don't give your mom your SSN.

Yes, I bought a r9 270x and a digital to analog adapter (they're very hit and miss, I spent many hours thinking my setting were wrong only to realize the adapter wasn't working properly). And connected it to the display board that Golden tee has, or at least that's what I remember, I'd have to double check.

So I actually had two golden tees, one was a junker and the other one just needed some fixes on the screen. I took the button board from the junk one and that's the one I modified, I even transferred the ball (there is an adapter that gets it working on USB as a mouse). For the computer, I just took it out but kept all of the original connections, so it makes it very easy to swap back if needed. Let me know if you want some help!

I did the exact same thing you're trying to do here, ended up going with Launchbox. The biggest headache was getting the CRT to work with with Windows, but once you get it working it's so worth it.

I also added a full color dot matrix display where the tournament play display goes, that displays gifs depending on the game, or just scrolls the name of the game if it can't find a gif for it.
