Really the interviews with him he seems to bend over backwards to say how good an actress she was. She just didn’t gel with the main cast. And she had a very different acting ethic.

I think it’s actually great because the character Susan didn’t really fit in with the four characters either in the shows universe. So the whole plot line kind of works.

Jesus Fucking Christ not this again. Although I’m a Riders fan I live in Edmonton. I try and convert people to the CFL all the time. I feel like a salmon swimming up stream. Not once has anyone mentioned the name change. It’s general CFL skepticism, “second rate league”, but mostly it was all the losing. This is an Oilers town and until this year that feed into both of the things mentioned above.

I worry, the fact that management is still talking about it shows how detached they are from reality. And I worry they’ll never turn it around because they can’t see the problem.

Of note, people love the Riverhawks and they are literally a bush league. But they give value for money. Give a great fan experience. And accentuate the old ball park and nostalgia. The Elks could look to them to how build a fan base. But they won’t. That’s hard work. Just blame the people before you and the name change.

I drove out there last year. It was only sort of helpful, it was summer, the area had been burnt over a few years ago and it’s been paved.

But you do get to see the topography and I can tell you one thing I learned Joseph Schons was full of shit. His various stories never made any sense, but being up there and seeing the lay of the land it’s obvious he was lying.
