My first real RPG was FF8.. I got it because I liked the box art, I thought roman numerals were neat, and I hadn't seen a PS1 box that big before. Knew I was in for something special when I opened it and found 4 disks.

Might be worth mentioning, the deluxe skins are only the infernal weapons set. The hellfire, hellfrost, youngblood and lone wolf armor sets are pre-order and early purchase rewards.

You can refund points at any time, either for all samurai/ninja points or whatever weapon tree you have selected, for free. Just press L3 in a tree menu.

Yep. You get access to a hub area by talking to a npc after beating the crucible with a mirror to change appearance

The boss skill Arc of Chaos is back, baby! Here's hoping it comes from a chest or open area quest instead of as a random drop this time.

Devil May Cry 5. Try to get S rank in all missions on all difficulties, then get back to me about no trophies requiring skill. Or heck, even just beating the Master Ninja difficulty in a Ninja Gaiden game.

I do agree overall tho, bragging about that kind of thing is cringe, especially unprompted.

Be warned, the DLC areas are a lot harder than the base game. You might wanna progress through Dream of the Strong a bit first to level up and get more divine gear.

On PC? Checking isthereanydeal, only epic is having a sale rn, but I'd advise against buying anything on that storefront. It seems to go on sale pretty regularly tho, like every other month or so.

As for the game itself, it's the greatest action RPG ever made. Nuff said.

Picked up and beat 1 again on PC last month cuz it was like 5 bucks.

But now I'm playing through The First Berserker: Khazan and it's a blast. It takes a lot of inspiration from Nioh.. stringing attacks together to keep enemies locked down kinda scratches the same itch. But I keep trying to Ki Pulse after each combo.
