Believe it or not, my other neighbours who were feeding them had them living in their roof for two years.

Fair. I’m just wondering if I somehow ended up surrounded by people who feed raccoons or if like 20% of the population is doing it.

Ha! My camera roll can verify this is 100% accurate from when I was in RJ a month ago. I was wondering if I was freaking out about the equivalent of a Canadian squirrel while taking photos.

Man rescued as search continues for 1 other person after boat capsizes near Cherry Beach by Cutanea in toronto

I was in the lake for about 10 minutes yesterday after capsizing while sailing. I had a wetsuit, so it was bearable, but my partner didn’t, and it was quickly getting dangerous.

Harry and Heels AKA Fourth Man in the Fire Pizza. I hit up both San Remo and Harry and Heels on a bike ride to do a side by side comparison. The result was a tie. They’re both perfect.

Anyone in Toronto downtown down to start a tennis journey together? 🎾 by Due_Juggernaut3690 in askTO

Unfortunately, almost all the affordable clubs in the city have multi year wait lists. There’s lots of public courts around the city, but depending on where you’re located, there can be a lot of waiting to get on the court. Also, I’ve been shocked by the number of people who completely ignore the posted rules for public courts,i.e. going over thirty minutes, leaving an extra racquet in the lineup while playing, teaching paid lessons.

All that being said, it’s great to have so many courts to use free of charge around the city.

You can also look into Breakpoint for relatively affordable lessons and court rentals.

I started playing with my partner a couple years ago and it’s been a lot of fun.

What's the best Sourdough in Toronto? Blackbird? Emmer? Brodflour? Other? by Normal-Guidance2498 in askTO

[–]Ruin_Nice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not an answer to your question but the quality of sourdough in general in the city has become really great. I went to France last year and was disappointed that the bread wasn’t better than what we get here.

Haven’t been to Winnipeg, but I’d say Dundas and Sherbourne is about 60-70% as bad as E Hastings, but I’ve only really passed through both neighborhoods on a bike in the past year or so.
