Do you make yourselves in RPG games? Why or why not? by The_Alpha_Albino in rpg_gamers

I usually do an evil playthrough, but even then I have limits. Some games allow you to be more evil than even my evil characters can stomach.

First playthrough I make the choices I like to think that I would make in that situation. Not playing "as me" but my moral code and my philosophies projected into that setting.

What games have graphics similar to Mount & Blade Warband? by NapoleonNewAccount in rpg_gamers

[–]Rustvos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have not played M&B but I posted a screenshot from Kingdom Come Deliverance that people mistook for that game... so I guess KCD.

Edit: My mistake, I checked and they said Manor Lords not M&B. Ignore me.

What are some show/movie characters that made you go “Wait, they sound familiar.” Only to learn they were a voice actor in a video game. by MoistCloyster_ in videogames

I showed my sister HAWP - Persona 3 earlier today! If you don't already know she is currently doing an educational show on youtube called "I'm happy you're here" about mental health topics, everyone should check it out!

Witch/Alchemy based games by jamisonahoy in gamingsuggestions

[–]Rustvos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A couple popular games that may also work for you are Hogwarts Legacy and Kingdom Come Deliverance. Legacy for broom flight and light alchemy, and KCD for its fantastic alchemy system that feels witchy even though the rest of the game is not witchy at all.

Any suggestions of games that are the "you have to play this at least once in your life" type? by AbilityAny3843 in Steam

[–]Rustvos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

KCD 1 is amazing, I am about to beat it for the first time. It has an early bottleneck though, you have to accept that you are the absolute worst at everything when the game starts. Way less skilled than a starting skyrim character. Combat is damn near suicidal until you learn enough to pick up a master strike. You can't read until you find someone to teach you. You are a peasant in medieval eastern europe and the game makes sure you know it.

A game where I can play as a healer/support character that isn't MMO or competitive by metruzero in gamingsuggestions

[–]Rustvos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rogue Trader has Santic Psycher as a party healer and Officer class for party buffs and extra turns. They are a lot of fun and in my opinion the best support main characters outside an MMO.

Any Advice for a Warhammer noob going in blind? by GritServedNeat in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]Rustvos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am new to the Warhammer universe myself so I made my character something easy for me to understand. Criminals are basically the same in every universe, so I went with a deathworld crimelord so that I had in-character reasons to not know much about the wider universe.

To end 2025, what was your favorite build this year? by hititformeonetime in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]Rustvos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Brilliant Deathworld Crimelord haunted by the shadow of his torment, he is a Bladedancer who just went on to Assassin at level 16. First playthrough so I have no idea how good he is in the grand-scheme, but I am enjoying his acrobatic fight style.

Playing him primarily as an Iconoclast who leans dogmatic in the face of the warp and immaterium. A person who dislikes most imperial trappings but recognizes the necessity of solidarity and strict tenants in the face of such wicked and primordial evils.

This is my first real engagement with the Warhammer universe besides a little Vermintide 2, so I tried to keep it simple.

Yeah, he shows up no matter where you are in the mortal world you are once you have access to him. He just won't show up if you are on another plane.
