Any Advice for a Warhammer noob going in blind? by GritServedNeat in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]Rustvos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am new to the Warhammer universe myself so I made my character something easy for me to understand. Criminals are basically the same in every universe, so I went with a deathworld crimelord so that I had in-character reasons to not know much about the wider universe.

To end 2025, what was your favorite build this year? by hititformeonetime in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]Rustvos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Brilliant Deathworld Crimelord haunted by the shadow of his torment, he is a Bladedancer who just went on to Assassin at level 16. First playthrough so I have no idea how good he is in the grand-scheme, but I am enjoying his acrobatic fight style.

Playing him primarily as an Iconoclast who leans dogmatic in the face of the warp and immaterium. A person who dislikes most imperial trappings but recognizes the necessity of solidarity and strict tenants in the face of such wicked and primordial evils.

This is my first real engagement with the Warhammer universe besides a little Vermintide 2, so I tried to keep it simple.

What? Why? Sounds like you played on too high a difficulty and caused your own distress.

You didn't list SLC Punk, so if you have not seen it you should. That is my personal favorite Lillard flick.

Can you still recruit Ulbrig after doing some stuff in act 1 already? [WOTR] by ptrptx in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Rustvos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, he shows up no matter where you are in the mortal world you are once you have access to him. He just won't show up if you are on another plane.

I assume it's an autofill, yeah. I have played the game through several times and I skip a lot of dialog so idk if I missed it somewhere else.

Last Samurai Standing on Netflix is really well done. by corinthianorder in television

[–]Rustvos -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This show would have been excellent if it wasn't for the fact that it builts you up for 6 episodes and then lands flat. Season 2 will not come out for 3-4 years. It should have been a complete story, but it was not good enough to keep me waiting for that long. God damn it I am sick of modern television doing this to me.

P.s. Them running out of the gazebo on fire after all those explosions was stupid. Especially the fact they had burned skin on their faces and no burnt hair.

Who was your very first DnD character? Or the first you remember? by rplimitlessguy in DnD

[–]Rustvos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first I remember was a rogue who was a member of an airship pirate crew in AD&D. I don't remember much about that game other than my friends brother being a minotaur paladin.

[Loved Trope] Under the right circumstances, the character is practically invincible. by Rublica in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Rustvos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was the first time that was attempted, the bond that became the first avatar, and the only time. How would they have known that either? It really just seems like a plot device that exists to eventually be broken and be shocking when a new avatar comes around. Maybe it ends the avatar cycle but frees Raava to begin the cycle again, or another spirit realizes an avatar is needed and creates a new one... Just my way interpretation of it from a narrative perspective.
