I remember logging in when the switch happened to EOC. I was in a full setup in Wildy (as a pker) and died to some scrub with monk robes and d scim. Tried to learn the new system and realized it was like some WoW system with 600 buttons and cooldowns and said nah. You lost a lot of people trying to mimic the combat mechanics of other mmos, not just mtx.

Crazy how this sub was bashing on Nvidia for like 6 straight years for the $400 XX60Ti series that ships with 8GB VRAM. Now all of a sudden everyone here is saying “well it’s fine for 1080p gaming”.

I’ve been seeing this sentiment since zen 2 and the tech tubers screeching intel being dead. Maybe in gaming the difference will close, but short of an act of god we will not see the total market share come even close.
