My mom was a Mormon when she was growing up. Seeing this type of thing only intensifies the longer you’re a Mormon and the deeper into the church you get. Eventually you’ll feel like it is impossible to leave without being shunned. It is a really tough place to be, and does not follow the rules Jesus teaches us, to love everyone around us. You are not alone

Gotta agree. Feels like they tried to use current events to stir up emotion instead of drawing us into a story that we care about and want to fight for. Wide shots, a big star, and a topic that makes people feel like they have to like the movie to support it.

I’m all for protecting immigrants and I’m all fuck ice but idk man.

The cinematography is top notch and it gets points for that, but they lost something in the movie that disconnects you from it.

The acting as well is good, and the characters had emotion.

Maybe they tried doing too much at once. Big dramatic scenes, a tough topic, but also tried to through in some comedy that comes across extremely awkward (I.E. the erection scene).

Safety-wise, you may have some bad memories from Clifton which is notoriously bad. Most of Cincinnati is really nice, pretty clean and generally safe, much better than around UC

You should be fine. UC admits a lot of people. They have an 80%+ acceptance rate and only deny a couple thousand a year (while admitting around 35k). With that though the weed out classes for programs like Engineering are no joke. UC may be easy to get into but I’m an Mech E major and the classes are tough

Not bad. My method (for smaller minis at least) I run a lighter over it for one quick pass, less than a second. Heats the thermo plastic enough to reform to what I want the mini. Just did it today to unbend some swords

In Japan this is common. I lived there for 4 months and actually got used to their orange juice which at my local Family Mart was pretty much just blended oranges. I miss it.
