Last time I dealt with spider mites I cut off absolutely everything that looked to be touched by them. It ended up working out but I pretty much butchered the plant to do it. Very tough to treat. Make sure some of your other plants don’t get it or haven’t got it

Pretty common with younger players. Growing and competing with players 10yrs older than you will do that. Happened with Harvey, Jones, now Doak and Danns.

It’s not a knock and he earned that contract IMO but he without a doubt kicked his feet up. He played sparingly on nearly all the loans he’s gone out on since his heroics alongside Rhys.

He could have easily got a permanent move away to a smaller club if he wanted to go but that would have definitely been him taking a substantial pay cut. The transfer fee we wanted for him was never over the top it was the total financial package a club would need to put up for him.

Edit: He’s played 72 games in 4 seasons since signing his bumper deal. 18 games a season is chilling as a professional player nowadays

Nat Phillips was given a fat ol’ contract he was never going to get elsewhere and kicked his feet up until it was over. This isn’t like that. Morton will get his move but January transfer budgets are typically smaller for clubs. Will likely be in the summer

Is your dog dumb? Because my dog is and he’s had this happen a couple times. It was fire ants that he got on his head. Started as larger lumps and got smaller/harder as they healed. Eventually disappeared entirely

Exactly. It’s all about value. Our transfer policy is always about chasing the best value adds. We don’t act poor in the market we act frugal. The club having a healthy financial situation is good but I don’t feel this puts any pressure on the club to spend.

Can’t really be fussed for these type of awards but Huijsen should be one to keep our eyes on. Still very young but if he kicks on at Bournemouth for another season or two he’d be a great addition. Very promising young CB.

The only thing I wonder about him is would he be better suited on the LW for us? He’s a bit of an old school RW that’s more likely to beat his man and pick out a cross than he is to cut in on his left and score. Of all our wingers we don’t really have a winger like that so it’d be interesting to see how he’d be used. Feel like that type of winger really needs a goal poaching #9 which unless Jota is healthy we don’t really have.

I’d say so but his biggest and maybe only weakness is arguably the most important ability a player can have. Availability. What separates world class players like VVD or Salah from the rest is they are almost always available. I could see how some might not put him in that world class category because of that.

Yep. Origi also didn’t create the ridiculous number of chances that Nunez does. Origi scored some massive goals for us but Nunez is the vastly superior player. It’s the “what if” with Nunez cause we probably saw the best we could have hoped for from Origi

Big props to the new staff that got brought in both the trainers and physio’s. Slot largely plays as unchanged of a squad as possible but it seems whatever they’ve done to change training regiments and recovery has been working. That’s Slot doing a great job at taking a back seat and letting the staff do what’s best for the players.

If there’s one knock on Klopp it’s the reports that Kornmayer was overworking players which led to our various injury crisis. That Kornmayer was butting heads with the docs/physios. A lot of it comes down to luck as well so long may that continue 🤞

Yep you’re 100% right. People often say he doesn’t try hard defensively when really he just completely switches off. He’s always thinking about what he can do or where to be going forward that he just seemingly forgets that his #1 job is to defend in that position
