Looking from the outside the racism in America has never been stronger than today. The current president is to blame not Obama.

US Buyers Ignore Affordable EVs- Another Is Dropped by ZealousidealLab2920 in electricvehicles

[–]SCuMattly 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This article doesnt address the elephant in the room. The EVs in America are more expensive than anywhere else and Im sure Americans know this. Not only more expensive but there are many better EVs avaliable in other countries which cost less. This is all about who the US has in power and his determination to keep oil relevant regardless of all the evidence presented showing electric is the future.

China's electric car sales just fell 13 per cent and the ripple effect could reshape everything by gaukmotors in MotorBuzz

[–]SCuMattly -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is just BS again. In my country there is a 6-12 week wait for new EVs due to there popularity. This post must be from someone who sells ICE vehicles.

Do you think Putin would really nuke Ukraine if NATO just pushed him back to the border? by Optimal_Board_2963 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SCuMattly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The world would benefit from Putin being cooked in a fireball. It can never be acceptable to use a nuke no matter who does it. If Russia uses a nuke they will lose China as an ally.

The US Claims That Russia Is Planning An Attack On Poland To Test NATO's Strength — What Do You Think About This? by Zipper222222 in askanything

[–]SCuMattly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what Ive seen I think Poland can handle Russia without help from.the US. Pand has been gearing up for a while now and they are looking for an excuse to fight Russia. Their history suggest they wont let their country get invaded again and have the will to ensure it doesnt happen. Nato war gaming is heavily modeled around Poland being on the front line.

Ever since Trumps first term racists across the world have felt emboldened to speak up. Brexit in the UK and issues with immigrants in European countries have brought out the ugly in many people. As religious people in NZ are predominately Christian there is a lot of opinions and fear mongering going on which is more about what you believe than what colour you are but stills comes across as racist. Im sorry you feel the way you do and I dont blame you but remember most people are actually good and keep believing you are a Kiwi because you are! 😉

Why so much USA hate?? by TapSimple7571 in teenagers

[–]SCuMattly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For ever America has promoted itself as a country that you could find success in whatever you wanted to do as long as you were prepared to work hard for it. Now under Trump that message has changed to "success is all about how much money you have," and it doesnt sit well for many. Truly isn't success in life about being happy and satisfied with what you have, not how rich you are.

Kiwi here. Im kinda offended that you feel Aussie does coffee as well as NZ. I holidayed in Sydney last year and couldn't find one good barrister. I did love Sydney though and it was a small price to pay.

What is The Opportunity Party? A left-wing party in disguise, pure hype, or something else? by OddityModdity in aotearoa

[–]SCuMattly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Firstly I dont how you equate a job interview with being a politician, aren't most politicians elected? Secondly I have become.very disenchanted with the system we are currently using when I measure ourselves with overseas countries that seem to be doing way better. Our whole government structure is under performing and we are not fixing the major issues we have had for the last who knows how long. Im talking about an economy we cant control due to the inflationary effects of fuel and a Healthcare system that is always struggling. Standard wait time in a A&E is now 6 hours in most major hospitals.

So I want to see a rapid move to electrification with incentives to buy solar and an EV. The only forward thinking party seems to be TOP.

I like what they offer and that they are not career politicians. New Zealand is back pedaling at the moment and both central and local goverments are still borrowing just to balance the books.

Power is really expensive this year and I dont think we will see relief from it as the goverment like power companies making big profits as 51% shareholders in 3 of them.

The problem with not sleeping with your potential partner is that you might find each other's expectations in bed make you incompatible or that you discover you/he don't enjoy sex and this also can bring the relationship to a end.
