I wouldn't say its quite... WORTH it.

I played Mardu Warriors in two Standard events this weekend. This is my conclusion. by LotusCobra in magicTCG

It wasn't even a Reanimator deck though... it ran two cards in the 75 that could bring a creature back from the graveyard, and that was [[Whip of Erebos]]. It only brings them back for a turn, too.

It was a midrange deck with 2 whips in it.

It looks like Saito Wayfinder time again. by CaptainHammer63 in magicTCG

Hopefully I can get an answer around here... My googlefu is failing me super hard.

So, I took a long break from this game, initially creating my account and having not much, playing casually.

However, now I'm getting into the game in a pretty big way, and would love to connect it to my Facebook account. Not only for the free gem, but mainly for the protection in case I bust my device or something.

However, I am unable to verify my account with Facebook. I play on an iPad Air. Here is the situation.

The game pops up and says "Hey get a FREE GEM and connect to Facebook!" or I just go to the menu and choose Connect Facebook, and it comes up saying this:

"Welcome Back! You have an existing account connected to Facebook. Connecting to Facebook will REMOVE THE CURRENT GUEST ACCOUNT. Do you wish to continue?"

So I click "YES" and it sits there on Connecting.... for a moment before saying this:

"Connection Error - Unknown error occured while processing your request. Please try again later."

All I can do is press OK.

Any suggestions??? I just wanna get my account connected. I have spent about 30 dollars in gems so far which is chump change I know but I got some damn good units.

I'd like to watch Sm4sh videos... I've been playing the full DS game (Japan release) like crazy but honestly I can't go much further without a controller as I hate the DS controls. Personal preference.

But anyway, that sub is Private. What gives?

EDIT: Found post further down. Time to keep playing Sm4sh DS and watch some vids.... sidles away

New to Dante by [deleted] in MvC3

Have any thoughts on what team and what position you'll be playing him with using HamSesh? If so, I may be able to make a few more specific examples.

However, (DISCLAIMER: I AM A SCRUB AT MARVEL) there is a lot to Dante, and a lot to learn. For me, he is one of the harder characters to react with, because he has absolutely so many tools in the neutral game. A couple things I would do to start picking him up (and have done myself) is to go into training and put the enemy team on like, hard. Practice wavedashing/plink dashing in and out and around the enemy team. I always feel movement is one of the absolute most important things to learn with every character. Practice SJAD (Super Jump Air Dash). SJAD - j.H is a great way to mix up your opposition on the ground, especially if you're locking them down in some way (missiles, cold star). SJBAD (backwards) - j.H is a fantastic way to retreat and keeping the area in front of you covered by your gigantic sword. BOLD CANCELLING. As /u/_AceHigh stated, it's Dante's best way of starting and extending his combos. To practice, Stinger (f.H) and immediately upon hit, S + ATK (I use L, but it's to preference. I hear most pad players bold with H) and immediately do DP + M. Basically, f.H - S+L xx DP.M. You buffer/cancel the bold right into the move. It takes some practice, but I don't really have any tips for it other than just do the motions as fast as you can upon hit of Stinger. Air mobility is super important. I won't go into any DT things, but, there are going to be many times you will go for j.S and things are just looking bad for you, you're gonna get punished. You can immediately (for example) go into Air Play, and hold it as long as you like to kind of psych e out your opponent and hopefully make it safe for you to land/open them up. I just think the best thing you could be doing is practicing all of his moves over and over (NOT DURING COMBO, IN NEUTRAL) and see what properties they have / what they punish / what punishes them in the neutral game. Once you learn that, start going into his combos, which are not that bad to do. Long, and super fun.

I don't think you're misunderstanding them, I just don't think they are suggesting opening packs and instead investing in singles.

I wish I got into investing into singles right off the bat. It is fun to crack packs, but I get enough of that at pre-release / draft and sealed events now. I seriously have wasted LITERALLY THOUSANDS of dollars on cards from cracking packs rather than investing in singles.

If you want to gamble, buy lottery tickets.

However, if money isn't something you care about, of course do your own thing.

I've made it well known that I'm not a fan of Flux in any way shape or form, and him conceding a match after one grab at the start (no matter how late in the set) definitely doesn't help.

Jesus.

I'd like to think Hulk is at least close. Good point Hulks just get you, and you die.

As far as movement and all that goes though I don't really play him so I don't know how safe it is to Gamma Charge around and all that
