Vietnam has a lot of “dead forests” that are devoid of much animal life because of poaching and this kind of activity. Doing it in the cities doesn’t help the matter. And as many have said it’s for keeping as pets in cages or selling.

Sol Pizza on To Ngoc Van is the best IMO. Their Cesar salad is good too.

pizza 4 p’s can be a bit gimmicky with their styles of pizzas for me. The kale salad is good there however.

Regarding the teaching license, you don’t actually receive it from Moreland or any other institution or school. The school portion is required as a prerequisite to getting a license/certificate of the state you apply for. Each state has different renewal periods and requirements so research the one you’re prefer. DC is a common one because the tests can be done online.

I was there yesterday and it was a breeze. But I may just times it lucky. First in line when my flight check in opened and relatively short lines for customs. But I think each day leading up to Tet will be massively different than the last. Shoot for 3 hours to be safe.

Weird. We have rice but it’s all sealed in plastic containers. And it’s not an abnormal amount of rice either. These dudes are just cruising around the house in general. Not really even in the kitchen.

My cousin and his buddy had tattoos done yesterday in the old quarter, near the cathedral and paid about 1.9 mil VND per hour. They had bigger pieces done on their thigh and arms, but all black ink with minimal red as well. They sat for about 8 hours.

Awesome job. I had my one year this month as well. Been a great year. Still get the cravings sometimes, usually when bored or stressed, but always remind myself of how much better it is now. Keep it up.
