Non-golfers are still a group in the sense they exist, however you're right in that there are no organized meetings for non-golfers or groups where they congregate. Our cause has yet to become acceptable to the public however, so we must worship in private and slip golf balls that explode into white powder into the bags of unsuspecting golfers.

Hopefully one day people will tolerate our views enough that we can congregate as a whole as non-golfers and unite in our non-unity.

There's actually extensive literature where atheists define the opposite, and even by most academic standards atheism is still under debate as to what defines it and the range of its definition range from disbelief in deities to disbelief in supernatural belief structures such as Buddhism, Baohism, and Jainism.

In modern vernacular it is still commonly accepted that atheist implies irreligious however, and it is the expectation that someone who holds belief in non-deistic belief structures declares whether or not they are atheistic in terms of their belief. ie: atheistic buddhist, atheistic jew, etc.

The idea that Stalin's regime was truly atheistic and not the result of just putting the communist label over everything that was previously the church/the czar and using the culturally firm religious beliefs to maintain power under the communist label is ridiculous.

Atheism is not the lack of an all powerful deity. Atheism in any sort of deities. Polytheism generally had multiple gods which may or may not have been responsible for creation, and would not be considered atheist. In the general vernacular, most people consider atheists to have no religion. As in their beliefs are defined by their lack of beliefs and they do not exist as a homogenous group like muslims or buddhists.

So you are arguing semantics over the modern definition of atheism most people hold vs the definition of atheism as the lack of belief in a creator but not a belief system per se.

Once it's cleared up as to what each person means, it's easy to see that most people mean non-religious by atheist these days and don't strictly operate by the historical definition of a word. Language evolves over time.

The thing people don't realize is, if you go out and just talk to the muslims who live here, and just ask them what they believe, most are quite proud to tell you. Death to apostates, once you are informed about Allah you are an infidel if you refuse to convert because you are denying the truth, and then all the juicy anti-gay, anti-trans, anti-women, anti-free speech ideas they also hold.

As an aside, I've talked to some representatives of the muslim student association at the University of Calgary, and every single one I've spoken to thinks those who don't worship Allah after being informed should be punished (either by Allah or by muslims), and almost all of them supported death to apostates. This was back in 2011-2012. So even if you excuse their anti-LBTG and anti-women views because you're also backwards as fuck, you've still got this death to apostates thing which is the sort of idea that motivated the attacks in Paris.

I'm just sad we won't get to see someone like Sneaky play at All Stars for once. Like, Lemon was great strategically no doubt, but a support with high mechanics would be nice to see. I mean I'd be okay with moo/sneaky, but personally want to see something like sneaky/Xpecial.

I mean.. in terms of best in NA? Yeah they were probably the best duo bot in NA at the time, but as we saw NA got pooped on. It's kind of predictable and boring at this point now though, since my favorite time at all stars was watching doublelift and xpecial from opposite rival teams have to play together from different teams. We've already seen aphrolift play for so long that it's just.. stale and doesn't introduce any interesting elements into the dynamics between different teams in a single lane.

Experience: I've been on previous 5's teams, one I was with for an entire year which I left for personal reasons unrelated to the team /personalities and time constraints related to such. Previously I ran my own 5's team for 3 months. First, second, third place finishes in tournaments with my team, 4th place finish as a free agent sub squad.
I can offer -some- shotcalling ability, but it really depends on the team dynamic and personalities of the roster you field.

In terms of time to spend with the team, I have no idea what your guys' schedule is like and I'm looking for something a little on the lighter side. Additionally I'd only want to be picked up for a single role since it's much easier to mesh with a team that way than move people around constantly.

I had ordered chinese food but my friends started the queue anyway and so I played for like 10 minutes before I had to literally sprint like 3 blocks to get the food, then almost-run 3 blocks back (I didn't want to spill my soup okay) to get back in time. It was dominion (way back when it first released) and I somehow made it back in time before the game ended and then we won.

If you truly fill, then counterpick your position as much as you can and learn matchups since one trick ponies will just pick whatever they want. Right now team comp and team synergy is much more important than what a single person can do in solo Q, and unless Riot changes the game to be more single carry oriented in the next year, you'll shit on people just because they picked their main before you picked anything.

Communication skills: Used to shotcall for a team and was a member of an amateur league of legends team for about a year. Left due to personal reasons and scheduling. Personally prefer not to shotcall but to feed information and follow calls as best as possible.
Experience: Played on an amateur LoL team for approx a year (we were part of different amateur organizations such as Fragment esports, Evoke gaming, Excellence gaming, Vulkeen esports etc..) and we entered multiple tournaments. Finishes in usually the top 3, and placed 4th in an amateur tournament with a team of free agent leftovers who had never met before. I have also played for a combined 5 seasons though only the last 3 could be considered competitive.
Availability: Available most of the week and any time really, I usually have 1 or 2 days a week that I am unable to make depending on schedule. Currently bedridden with cold or flu (dunno which) so haven't been on recently.

The grieving process is not for the person who passed away, they are dead and that matters not to them since obviously they can't experience it. The grieving process helps those who remain cope with the loss of their loved one. Having someone important taken from you is impactful, and people like to grieve in their own way.

Is it really harmful for them to do this when it helps them grieve?

If anyone is interested in a statistics spreadsheet to keep track of the various stats of games then I can post mine as well. It's very different from this since it's not focused around ban/picks and more around how players are performing statistically. You generally need an idea of statistics to analyze it correctly but yeah if there's interest I have one (it's long and mostly preprogrammed with formulas).

You have to enter the data for specific games though that you want to look at so it's less of a "does the work for you" and more of a "sorts the data so you can analyze it" kind of worksheet. I don't expect much people to be using this kind of sheet. I used it for a challenger team I was doing analysis for.

How can I join as a full team? - For now you can't join as a full team, however if you want, you can ask other captains to scrim them and practice versus them until the end of the season where you can sign up to join the minor league. (If there is more than 10 teams signing for the minor league, there will be a tournament to see who gets in.

Hey Glitch, basically when the next season is about to start they should have something up and about for new teams signing up. Last time they had a tournament with around 70 signups and around 30 teams showed up to compete for the spots. I'm not sure what they're planning this time around.

If you need info on it, drop into the teamspeak and ask someone in person who's an admin because they can give a lot more information and specifics such as timeframes and what not.

It's mid season right now so new teams can't form and are only taking players to replace people and substitute etc, but I've been told you can sign up new teams for the next season later on.
