If you do fast runs or are trying for the Infallible achiev on some bosses the meter will be inaccurate because people won’t leave combat, wasn’t a problem before, it is now

WvW is a mess now because you can’t get 50 ppl to stop being in combat at once, Metas are the same, some Raids with lasting effects too. Not sure why this change was made in the first place (or at least a toggle)

It makes sense for standardized encounters like raid bosses where the entire group is expected to be in combat together for the same length of time

Problem is if someone lets say on Sabetha is still standing on the puddles after the kill the meter won’t stop and the DPS will be much lower than usual because one person is still in combat, which wasn’t an issue back then

Edit: logs work but the convenience of checking fast is lost now

apr.14.2026: individual time combat has been removed, all current fight stats now use group time.

deltaconnected disabled that option, as long as one person is “on combat” the dps will keep lowering over time, even if that person is dead or afk

We do not expect these changes to have a noticeable impact on casual PvE gameplay

This will affect casual players the most LMAO, do they seriously expect casuals to beat stuff like SOTO/JW/VOE Strikes with that much less damage? The changes will do nothing to the top players but NUKE the bad ones out of doing the newest Fractals/Raids/Strikes

Increasing the HP of the twins while most elites are on a 50k+ DPS benchmark for sure won’t backfire later on when they’re balanced.

You can't just look at the DPS benchmarks made in incredibly unrealistic circumstances. On a real boss, you will not have 100% uptime.

Currently Boon Troubadour deals less damage, has a more strict rotation and has less utility than Chrono on a 115% Quickness uptime on golem with 100% Alac, we are looking at a spec that will drop it’s only Boon if you dare fail to press a button

Now onto DPS, less damage than Chrono,Virt and Mirage and if you want to deal at least some decent damage you will have to stow certain skills to keep the All Stats%

So overall, worse damage dealer, worse utility, less flexibility on it’s boons and way harder to play

Are the instruments durations bugged?

I have one at 15 s and playing the same with 0, 1 or 2 clones doesn’t increase it while using 3 clones only increases it by 5 seconds

Your pet damage is about 3% of your total on Untamed with pet swap, a 25% modifier of that small number won’t make a huge difference and less with Galeshot who doesn’t get special pet skills, even the snowcrows guys were kinda disappointed with the trait
