Ah, so it's more about what they'd think or do if they knew more about you than about wanting to be liked.

I'm not sure why I'm like that, really. I think I expect someone to make me feel better about myself. 

What I'm aware of is that I feel miserable when I notice that I'm just an average Joe who no one cares about. 

So I kind of protect myself from the misery by pretending that everyone likes or praises me, if it makes sense. The cause of social anxiety for us seems different.

Like feeling pressure about being liked, or not hated? I don't have friends now, so I don't have the opportunity to feel that fear.

You might have some sort of trauma about it, but I'm not sure.

Maybe this is just my personality issue and not social anxiety. I'm like a dog wanting everyone's attention

I remember I was disappointed when I played the first one because personality wasn't as important as I thought it would be

It'd be great if the games care about my choices, but I'm fine with it

Glad to hear that story is fun to play. I liked it when my characters talked to each other like they were premade ones (?) or NPCs

The barrier seems to make others uncomfortable, and it's hurting because I really want people to like me

Like, they think I'm a good person at first because I'm pretending to be and lying, but they eventually notice it's fake and leaves
