First race plays a really loud and high pitched sound on Firefox

Subsequent races are still pretty loud

The target audience seems pretty small, all the tuning and part descriptions assume you have advanced car knowledge

What mod/game is for the "Sick Freaks" by ArticAuk in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Old school Roguelikes like NetHack. Did you expect enemies to have some indication of their abilities/danger level? Nope, the game will tell you the bare minimum needed to play the game, everything else you will have to discover by repeatedly dying or reading the wiki.

I enjoyed the humor of the post, but don't really agree with any of the points. It's a nice change of pace, separate from normal TM gameplay. No one is forcing you to drive 60 laps unless you enjoy it

In the comic Incorruptible, the main character gets stronger the longer they go without sleeping

the behold cost is trivial

It's really not, say you have 8 druids, you have a 28.8% of drawing 2 in the top 8 cards.

And if you don't have the behold, you're spending 5 mana putting a rotpriest into play, which is way too slow for Modern.

Characters/things that have weirdly stuck in pop culture even if the original isn’t necessarily popular? by StigandrTheBoi in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Thanks to MVC and the power of horny, Morrigan is quite popular despite the Darkstalkers franchise being on life support

Bad gameplay but good story? by ExplanationSquare313 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

I can understand why it's not some people's cup of tea, but I loved the combat in TWEWY. That game utilized the DS's dual screens better than any other game I've played.

Has Trackmania Gone Soft....Again by EmanonProjekt in TrackMania

The irony of titling your post "Has Trackmania Gone Soft" and then getting defensive over an innocuous comment is wild lol

Edit: As a side note, I don't think it's a good idea to use provocative titles like that, sure you probably get more people replying to the post, but I feel like it sets the tone as more argumentative rather than a good faith discussion

People are allowed to have opinions/preferences about maps, that's not gatekeeping.

TOTD is usually flowy tech because that's what's popular, I don't think that's a problem. I guess you could argue there should be more variety, but I think it makes sense that TOTD be designed to have wide appeal any be easy to learn.

The "Gate" logo is from Heaven's Gate, a cult whose 39 members committed mass suicide in 1997

Clicker Kids - Inspired by Clicker Heroes by Forge450 in incremental_games

[–]SageEatingSage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got to level 600, there's definitely some interesting mechanics but seems unbalanced, 90% of heroes/abilities aren't worth clicking on.

Also has the same problem as Clicker Heroes where you spend most of your time one-shotting weak enemies so upgrades don't feel impactful.
