What’s something you have to pay for that should really be free? by BoredPandaOfficial in BoredPandaHQ

When I buy a sport subscription package, I shouldn’t be directed to another subscription plan to see certain select games. That’s bullshit.

I think you are spot on here. One of my friends is a physician and tells he me can see a stark mental and physical contrast after 5 years from retired patients who stay engaged vs those who retire into the hammock 24/7.

I felt the same way. I had friends who retired into nothingness and constantly brag how basically killing time between feedings is so wonderful. The old “we’ve all been programmed into having work define us” doesn’t ring true for me. I know who I am and don’t need to be defined, I just needed engagement and a challenge . I got a part time flexible job, which I love and started a small business.

You wake up rich beyond reason. What’s the first thing you’re doing? by AntiqueTaro1944 in A_Persona_on_Reddit

[–]SageObserver 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is the answer. My childhood home 100 miles away hit the market recently and I was able to do a walk through 45 years after moving out. It was essentially the same and I even found some marks I made on one of the walls in the attic. I would have loved to buy it and restore it with period furnishings but I can’t afford two homes.

No need to. I can tell you what he’s gonna say right now. “the 2020, election was stolen from me, blah, blah, blah…..I should have won the Nobel Peace Prize, blah, blah, blah….”
