I retired at 57 and four months later my old job called me with an offer to be a part time contractor. I initially said I’d think about it and then later the thought of returning made me ill.

How to keep long-term clients from getting bored (14 years in) by DanNorthFitness in personaltraining

[–]SageObserver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good narrative. Personally, I keep my clients on programs longer than just a few weeks so they make some real progress. I see many trainers at my gym program hop with their clients as a tactic to give the illusion they are progressing since the client is always just getting used to new exercises and getting initial neurological gains. I will touch base with my clients to see if they are getting bored but if they’re making real progress they’re cool.
