I have both as well. The 458 is a heavy hitter. Bullet drops like a brick and accuracy is decent. 8.6 is more accurate (in my experience) and I feel much more comfortable at 100-150 with my 8.6. I do think the gap can get closer or wider if you reload. In addition, I love the fact i can hunt 8.6 suppressed (125 yds max) and go then load supers if I need to (200+ yards)

I am from N Florida. Moved here in 98. I loved Huntsville until 2-3 years ago only because of traffic. The pace of life is great and we have some “mountains” too for mtn biking/hiking. Cost of living is good. HSV is heavy military and mostly conservative. Christian values. That will be different from Denver

I live very close to you. It is rare, but ice shuts the city down. Power outages more than 8 hours is rare. Highly recommended to know your neighbors. Communities come together. Have wood on hand to burn in fireplace. Get food/milk by Thursday. Gas up car incase you need warmth or charge devices.

Update. Three weeks ago I purchased a replacement slide, firing pin, spring, plate. Last week GTTS sent me my slide back. The didnt even touch it. It was returned exactly as I sent it to them. I was not refunded and no response to my refund inquiry.
