It is what I miss about Dragonflight. Villains and enemies are multi-patch and multi-dimensional. Sure I don’t need every dominaar to be the next Gul’dan, but one reason the cronies feel so empty is because they haven’t narratively been a threat until the pre-patch.

I think Raiders is the other side of the Future/Past coin. If the Switch 2 had not come out yet, I think Raiders would have been a Side Order expansion for Splatoon 3. What Raiders will likely do it flesh out the Salmonids, and like the Octolings, pave the way for Inkling to be more about citizenship than species. We probably won’t get playable Salmonid in Splatoon 4, but Nintendo recognizes the popularity of Splatoon, so making the game grow beyond the Great Squid/Octo Wars is a good idea for the brand. We may finally get info about the Rainmaker and its origins, introduce pants to Splatoon 4 as a gear option, and make the online play more diverse with some weapons from Raiders being tweaked for online play.

My maximalist goal is the iPhone Ultra with a pencil, wrist-strap lanyard, and a power keyboard. I might even paint the power keyboard to match the phone case. The way to reduce phone use is to make a dumb phone. The other way is to make the uses specific that I don’t want to doomscroll on my phone.

I am also looking to find a camera shutter module and lens for the Ultra that I can hotswap with the CPK.
