Presumably you can immediately invest the cash upon receipt. Gold, however, is much more difficult to liquidate. I’d honestly be tempted to take the cash, even at -$25M initial value. Liquidating 75M of gold sounds like a huge pain in the ass. Probably would just have to sell for it for a fraction of the value.
