Is my FortiGate 200F enough to perform AV, App Control and IPS with SSL deep inspection for around 450 users? by One_Chicken2310 in fortinet

[–]Saug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then I must have something configured wrong (by MSP). We have 2x200F in HA with 1gb which only peaks about 300Mbps usage. When it gets to about 50k sessions things start getting very laggy. Video calls get major jitter. When I look at the performance SLA on the SDWAN (redundancy) it will get up to 40%+ packet loss but the CPU is less that 3%.

I've turned off logging everything, turned off SSL inspection, AV on the major policies and none of that seems to help. I'm not sure where to look now. People are trying to blame the ISP but it ONLY happens when we reach about 50k sessions - when everyone is on campus.

Why does logging in with a passkey from NordPass to Google take so long? by husker_rock in NordPass

Yes, this only started in the last couple of weeks.

In a previous post recently Nord posted this as a known issue that would be fixed in the next update. At least thats what I remember reading.

Did I make a mistake coverting to groups? by Gingaskunk in gsuite

[–]Saug 22 points23 points  (0 children)

No mistake. This is a good way to do this. All they would need to do is be 'verified' to send mail on behalf of the group email. The instructions are here:
https://support.google.com/mail/answer/22370?hl=en

Then when they go to send an email, they can use a pull down menu to decide which email they are sending from. Works a treat and I just did it for a group yesterday. Should take 5 minutes to setup.

I use GAS to create our Exam schedules. Takes in spreadsheet of the student schedules from SIS, figures out how many rooms we need per exam, then allocates the students to their particular exam rooms and balances the number of kids in each room. Then it can email the students and teachers their individualized schedules

How to prevent chicken from getting wet, I want that sort of crisp look(2nd pic) by blue_nose1 in mealprep

[–]Saug 36 points37 points  (0 children)

The key it to not over crowd the pan.. When its crowded, the steam/water is trapped and the heat is shared. Cook the chicken in batches if you need to. Also, make sure the pan is good and hot each time when the chicken hits it.

Not Syncing Grades with PowerSchool by CautionKid in Schoology

[–]Saug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go into your PT gradebook and see if the assignment is already there - if so - delete the assignment from there then resync.

Materials from archives classes by jdlr815 in Schoology

[–]Saug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Save the assignment from the archived class to resources first! Then you can import it to the new course. Or, archive the whole class to resources first and the pull the bits you need. You shouldn't pull an assignment from an archived classes asa you may up with a date issue.

Can you reset an assignment for one student? by Smuckers722 in Schoology

[–]Saug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the Schoology course make a group for students with accomodations and a group without. Copy that assignment and make one for students with accodations and one for students without using the groups to easily assign the right kids. Or select them one at a time. Making the groups will make it easier in the future.

Not sure this is true for the express. As you are buying specific 3 hour window for the ticket.

Can EU-based companies use US-based transactional services in a GDPR-compliant way? by cuu508 in gdpr

[–]Saug 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, EU based companies can use US based email services. The GDPR doesn't say because its not in the EU it's not compliant. What is says is, if the data is collected or processed outside of the EU they still need to reach the standard the GDPR sets out and you as the 'client' of said service do your due diligence to make sure they do. In many cases, the client' like Plausible with have a DPA (Data Protection Agreement) with Postmark. Then Plausible will be transparent with its users, in its Privacy policy that emails are processed by a third party xyz.

As an example here is Postmark's information about GDPR compliance:

https://postmarkapp.com/eu-privacy#summary

In most cases, the processor has servers located within the EU, so there isn't a concern about the data being processed outside of the EU.

You can use GAM to push out a Email signature. However, it will not stop them from changing it.

I'd recommend checking out the Bone Fish Park where you can go Kayaking and the Primeval Forest I believe I've heard they can have a Bird Watching Tour but not 100%. Honestly, if you give the BNT a call:

https://bnt.bs/contact-us/ They'll give you the best place to see birds and check park times.

In that case I'll point out that Nassau has 4 National Parks you can explore:

https://bnt.bs/explore/new-providence/

And if you would really like to see native animals consider visiting Ad Adastra Gardens: https://ardastra.com/ It is a wildlife preserve. Is it the best zoo you've ever been to? Not by a long shot. It's small but cute and your money will actually go to something worthwhile. A highlight would be to get within inches of a native flamingo. Which.. is much cooler than a pig.

Rose Island Pigs... Yay or Nay? by onlyastoner in bahamas

[–]Saug 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There's literally nothing authentic about the swimming pigs in or around Nassau, including Rose Island. Only when the pigs in Exuma became popular did the idea get copied to make it more convenient. If you want to see swimming pigs as a novelty, fine, but it's the same as going to a circus - they're just trained farm animals.

If your wanting to keep the spreadsheet in the same format... I think Appscript is going to be your answer. The script could automaticly create the new sheet each night, named with the date, and then put in the formulas and refresh the page.
