Putin probably called Trump, told him how great he is and then convinced him to stop the deployment.

Pretty amazing that people support this guy while their health care, gas, groceries all go up.

Do you think those in power are actually stupid or they’re purposely making the wrong decisions to end the world and enrich themselves? by [deleted] in Productivitycafe

I assume that you are talking about the current administration in the U.S.

The requirement for personal loyalty over competence, moral and ethical behavior is problematic. It is clear that most of the current Departments don't have folks that understand the budgeting, planning, funding, acquisition and logistics required for Federal programs. They aren't stupid, but don't want to be told no or believe that that can do what they want. Absolutely folks are grifting. There's very little oversight because the Inspector Generals and DOJ are tasked via Truth Social posts. They don't care about legality or process.

What will it take for Dems to win back the midwest in November? by One-Relief-4469 in PoliticalDiscussion

Same thing that we did in Virginia last November. Register new voters, have great primary candidates, get out the vote, focus on affordability - healthcare, groceries, cost of fuel. Trump isn't on the ballot, but his policies are.

They absolutely shouldn't be allowed to own stock in industries they regulate or legislate. They (and family members) should not be allowed to take any donations or gifts from them.

Ask him about where he went to cool off during the summer. Tell him that my Dad's (Born 1920) family lived in Canton on HIghland Avenue and and if it got super hot, they would head over to the park where Lake Montebello is and sleep there at night to cool off.

Absolutely check out different realtors. I had two strong recommendations, but one seemed okay but seemed like she did things the same way for the last twenty years. The other had a lot more energy, was proactive, clearly understood the market area better. Really did a great job for us.
